이 MV는 중의적인 표현과 많은 이스터 에그가 있지만,전체적인 주제의식은 사회적 가치와 영리적 가치를 추구하는 기업(이나 아티스트)의 고민을 다룹니다. 통속적인 지구문명속에 날아든 달나라(토끼나라)외계인 뉴진스는 지구에서 "슈퍼내츄럴 주식회사"를 차리고 음악그룹활동과 더불어 기상캐스터,CF활동,모델,슈퍼내츄럴신문사,버니즈방송국,음료수사업,항공사업등을 하며 큰 기업을 이룹니다. 멤버들은 모두 초능력이 있는데 하니의 분신술(외계인리더),다니엘의 기상예측능력,해린의 얼룩말소환능력(슈퍼내츄럴신문 발행인),민지의 미모능력(모델,CF)이 있지만 문제는 혜인의 능력이 너무 커서 생깁니다. 혜인이 질투감을 가지면서 감정에 따라 기상변화가 극심해지고 전파가 끊기며 이상한 생물이 생기는 등 뉴진스의 정체가 탄로날 상황이 되자 하니는 위험해져선 안된다고 민지와 언쟁을 벌이지만 결국 민지가 혜인을 설득하면서 슈퍼내츄럴 회사는 지구에 긍정적인 영행력을 계속 전파하며 성공적인 활동을 이어갑니다.(해린이 소환한 제브라는 사회적가치(환경문제같은)를 중시하는 기업이라는 의미의 제브라 기업을 은유한 것이고 해린이 타고 가는 유니콘은 이윤적 가치를 중시하는 유니콘 기업을 은유하는 것이기에 해린은 슈퍼내츄럴회사의 경영책임자로서 두 가치 사이에 고민하는 경영자(아마도 Ador)의 모습을 상징한 것으로 보입니다) 결국 Part.10까지의 오랜 성공적인 임무완성후 하니의 메시지를 남기며 뉴진스는 달나라로 귀환하고 엔딩장면에선 골든문과 다이아몬드스타가 보이며 사랑이 가득찬 지구의 모습(상업적 광고판들은 모두 지직거림)을 볼 수 있습니다.

For me, I just enjoy the music, visuals and choreography. I don't want to think, I want to feel, so I'm not even trying to understand the storyline. That will come bit by bit over time with repeated watches as it did with Ditto and Cool With You. 🥰

I actually really liked this video although I can understand the confusion. So many videos, and even songs, in Kpop just lack creativity to me and just feel like the same redundant tired out formulaic thing (picture boy groups jumping around, stomping a lot, and screaming and girl groups doing "girl crush concept" jumping around, stomping a lot, and screaming all with dark backgrounds and rapid scene changes). NewJeans is different and this is what I love about them. They tell stories and their music is fresh and R&Bish. I would really recommend viewing the video put out by ADOR, "[Making Jeans] NewJeans (뉴진스) 'Supernatural' MV Behind...," because this video gives a lot of context, background, and highlights some of the most intriguing features of the Supernatural videos.

So basically what’s going on in this music video is that you see Danielle, talking about the weather and how they’re going to be unusual species coming and stuff like that. So hanni and minji are fighting about how the storm is going to affect their powers and can lead to their powers getting revealed. With hyein, she likes the boy but minji only wants to be the boy’s friend so she explains to her that’s why she doesn’t make strong relationships with other people because they could end up hurting others. In the photo shoot scene where they’re taking pictures of minji you can see the light flicker off and Haerin runs off. the cause of the light turning off was because the storm is slowly affecting their powers. and later in the video you see bunny type aliens. These aliens are looking for a new jeans and that’s why there’s a storm. And the part where minji starts speaking. Spanish is just the captions being messed up.

Ok so i was well off last time but this is the general feeling others have had also.. They are ALL aliens..... the bit where haerin and minji run off set after haerin seemingly accidently uses her powers causing everything to shut down is possibly the moment that they got exposed... so now they need to leave back to their home planet... Hyein is the problem as she doesnt want to leave as shes fallen for the boy... the argument at the start is hanni saying we have to leave with or without her.. minji argues we 5 are 1 saying they arent going without Hyein. This is why Minji is constantly trying to split the two up... the conversation on the boat between Minji and Hyein seems to convince Hyein to leave with them as after we see bunny hyein holding onto minjis hand as she leads hyein onto their spaceship. Also its a metaphor for idol life 'idols' not being 'normal' people cant just jump into a relationship whenever they like as us 'normal' people can.. they have to comply to a certain image and also relationships could lead to a lack of focus in their duties as an idol and extreme situations like leaving the group.. again minji we 5 are 1 is not going to let this happen. The we 5 are 1 thing is probably alluding to them performing as a 4some recently for quite some time while hyein is out.. saying weve been incomplete without her or something along those lines. Theres something going on with the throwing of the cans as well which i cant figure out.. are they beer cans? does the boy have a drinking problem? is that what minji points out to hyein on the boat and hyein sees it for herself.. that what makes her forget about him... maybe..

It's kind of a pet peeve when people say Garam was "proven innocent" or that it was "false accusations". It's unclear from the investigation but Garam and/or her friends may have tried to force a classmate to leave school because she was talking behind their backs. There was at least 1 near-brawl between those girls and their friends (including several male students), but the violence never escalated past cursing and shoving. Finally the other girl uploaded a picture of another girl in her underwear, and withdrew from school rather than face expulsion. Garam and her friends continued to taunt the girl even after she left via chat apps. It was a bit late, but the school did conduct an investigation. The "worse" girl didn't get any punishment because she already left the school. Garam got a few hours of "special education". Not sure if that's like detention or what. It's not bullying, because bullying implies attacking someone who is innocent. The other girl was by no means innocent. But if that report came out, it would certainly tarnish her image. It's unfortunate because she was a minor and didn't have the composure to hold back.
