This is my 2003 LB7 Chevy 3500 Duramax with the 5" MBRP exhaust. The system does have one resonator and I do still have a stock downpipe. Bosch injectors, FASS fuel system and an AFE intake are the only other mods. Thanks for watching!!

Previously just had a muffler delete and it sounds much better now with a resonator delete. Its a bit louder and you can hear some burbles when you rev. Sounds better with HEADPHONES!

Mazdaspeed3 gets a muffler delete. Cheap way to get a lower exhaust note and a bit louder. Sorry for the wind and quality enjoy!

When I purchased my 843, there was and still is a large bolt and nut holding the door shut. need to fix that!

I didn’t have it done and I never had a problem
I have the same car and put on a Corksport catback exaust, everything else stock, and it has the deepest most bad ass sound ever (There is two resonators on the catback). Its not to loud and is perfect for not pissing off neighbors and drawing attention, police etc. Absolutely no problems to put on a catback.

I like the exhaust, sounds louder than stock but still clean. Did you install hpfp internals to support the intake or is it ok without it?
Nope I did not! I daily drove this car for a year without hpfp internals until someone hit me.. but never had any issues

Does the stock exhaust have 2 resonators and a muffler? Or just 1 resonator, if so did you remove both resonators?

Yes it’s just a bit louder than stock but cruising is fine. When you get on it you can definitely hear a difference tho

@@T6travels I wouldn’t say it’s raspy but it is a little lower tone.. also like you said, it could be my mic quality.... I have another video where I have both the muffler and resonator deleted and that’s what brought a tiny bit more rasp out.
@@T6travels Its raspy as hell in higher gears, did this today and above 4-5RPM the rasp is intense. Lower RPM's it sounds great.

I have the same car with a deleted resonator but still with the rear muffler. Did you get this sound just by deleting the muffler too or did you also remove the catalytic converter and change some piping too?
Yes this is just a resonator and muffler delete! Nothing else

@@henrybravo9973 OK so now I have a sports muffler and a bypass which eliminates the effect of a muffler more than 50%. Still not as loud and vibrating in the cockpit as I expected it to be, regardless of the nice and loud sound back at the pipes. Seems like I was aiming for something that was present only with the stock muffler. How does muffler and resonator delete sound regarding cockpit noise and gargling? I like the noise.
@@misovafurka How does it sound. I have a resonator delete already done. But If I remove my muffler I have to replace it, with a different one, because one can’t have a valid inspection without one.
@@itsyrboiiijustinnn4934 It sounds awesome. My current setup is no resonator, new sports muffler (one unifying both exhaust pipes) and a hacky bypass pipe which avoids the muffler and gives more raw and loud sound. It's a great combination. You get pops, gurgling and a nice racing growl when you hit the throttle. If not because of the noise I'd probably fail the technical inspection because of the improvised bypass pipe but I can return my factory setup completely before the inspection since I kept it stored in one piece.
did you have to tune it at all when you did the muffler delete? and when you put the short ram intake on there?
Nicholas Simms I didn’t tune it and it ran fine. I eventually got an accessport a few months later and tuned it then
Do you mean "resonator delete". The muffler refers to the oval thing after the y-pipe. It's clearly still there.
Adios Amigos the first clip is stock exhaust so yes the oval is still there. The second clip is after I got the muffler delete!

Angel Avila it’s a little louder than stock but you can definitely hear a difference when your driving

Martin Baca mine does not drone on the highway just a little bit when slowly picking up speed but nothing bad at all

I got a Cobb short ram intake it really brings out the turbo whistles and sounds

xrainbowwaterx I didn’t have a tune on it for about 6 months and it ran and sounded normal. I do now have a tune on it but just an intake with no tune should be completely fine.

This car has a very special place in my heart. I owned one and it was a blast and even more when I went all out with mods. I love my subie now but looking back this is a great car to own.
Chris J the way subaru’s get their rumble is from unequal length headers. If you want that same rumble youd have to get those. I dont think they sell them for an MS3, so youd probably have to get some custom made or something. But in general swapping headers will give you a better more aggressive engine sound
Shouldn't have wasted money on a Subaru. Every tool and their mother has one.
I am a MK5 GTI man myself, but do have a soft spot for these cars. Very nice.
