Hi mate 👍, yes the HIAB does not like lifting with a straight crane, it locks out . There is a traffic light 🚥 sort of system on the control panel that indicates the optimal angle for the crane. I have just got used to it! I operated a hmf many years ago and the crane would lift at any angle!

No I hook them on, I edit that part out some times to shorten the videos and not to bore viewers with me hooking the loops on every lift.👍

I drive 26 tonne DAF with a fassie crane. And I've a built it sat nav witch is very helpful when going into London

How do you find the DAF and are you operating a HIAB?

@@SCRUFFYPIGEON I like it! It's big 😅 we have Fassi crane on it. Easy to operate.

@@SCRUFFYPIGEON good thank you pal! Been out this week doing drops, can use the crane okay its just positioning the lorry when setting up Im always too close and can never get the leg out🤣 kents buying a 14t tipper with a hook on in june so something else to get use too🙈

I have delivered to one site and they were not happy with me standing on the platform to operate the crane. Absolute madness. I’m personally not to keen on the remotes , I like to feel what the wagon is doing and you almost feel disconnected from the wagon with the remotes, if you get what I mean.

@@00Burt yeh I agree 👍the iPhone has a time lapse feature which I recently found out is best for when your camera is still and the time warp feature on the go pro is best for when the camera is moving. The go pro has time lapse and time warp and to be honest I wish I had have bought one years ago,it is a great bit of kit.

Yeah gravel can be abit tricky just gotta be careful your not putting too much pressure on the bag, plum slate is the one I will sling those cus I’ve had a few bags go on me, I work in Tamworth west mids mate

Why do people feel the need to be negative all the time. Obviously you can see where it was strapped down. May as well just watch something else.

Yes mate it was the way I was trained many years ago, we prefer to use the loops. We will grab the bags for low trees ,wires etc..👍

companies have different rules, manufacturers say use lifting hooks or pinch the bags.
