personally i didnt like those designs cuz of how they didn't really fit the characters. like, example is that since human rarity has dwarfism (idk if i phrased this correctly), her pony version should've been small, too, so it doesn't make sense for me. or twilight, shes built like really manly in the design, lookin like she lifts golf carts as warmup, but in reality shes a bookworm that probably barely exercises, so it would've made more sense for her to be lanky or something. its like those are whole new characters tbh cuz i cant really imagine any of them looking like that at all (except fluttershy. she looked accurate enough for me :P)

I feel bad because they don’t deserve that hate. I honestly don’t care abt what their style looks like (it still looks great) I’m still going crazy over how they drew Accardi I swear i barely see 8 11 content so it’s always nice to see. I just wish the people who are hating would just leave them alone, let people draw how they want to draw.

i will say as an artist while im not a hater on the designs im not the BIGGEST fan of normalizing harmful weights; theres a such thing as bigger and smaller people yeah but when it comes down to someone trying to normalize genuinely harmful body weights its a bit... eh to me.. not saying theyre doing it, but i can say im just not a fan of ceratin designs because of it

Our self insert mha Ocs are very similar huh? Mine was a brown haired girl studying at Shiketsu, also a rescue hero, also with plant powers. The main difference was that mine couldn’t make plants appear from nowhere, only control ones that are around her in the environment. Her hero costume had a bunch of different plants in it so she had something to work with in a barren environment I.e. seedlings, moss and flowers in her hair. Her signature move was using trees to lift up rubble/debris/enemies to make a safe tunnel underneath

Im probably gonna redesign my cringe MHA oc, she was a furry and her quirk is illusions. I cant remember if any other canon character has that quirk but whatever 😭. She is so ugly help 💀. Im definitely gonna change almost everything about her , im gonna make her a support course student and she’ll like engineering :3

Their case makes me so upset, the hate is terrible, i can literally see they found their artstyle and they learned more features in clothing and giving them arms and so on so therefore they improved to me, tiktok boils my blood when it comes to people judging people I dont like posting my art there much because its inconsistent because of that alone

People on the internet are so mean for no reason, even I had to experience some hate a few days ago just because I asked for advice on how to get commissions. At first I got helpful comments, but then people started saying that my art style was bland and generic. I tried to explain that that wasn’t the advice I was looking for, but every time I tried to explain it just got down voted to hell (this was on Reddit). I ended up regretting making that thread so much because it made me feel really insecure, but at least I was able to get my first commission out of it since it became so viral lol

No. Just no. It's terrible and I don't need to explain EVERYTHING wrong with this. The proportions alone are terrible. It's got nothing to do with race. And it's fine to have some overweight people but really? That's ridiculous. There's a healthy amount of body fat, but when you're literally ROUND that's on your diet, not genetics. Half the terrible redesigns are an unhealthy level of obesity and the only white person have literally no body definition, I get the character is shy but she doesn't have to be flat. They body types are literally racist to assume all black women are curvy and all white girls are flat. This is really problematic. And wtf is with the bowling ball???

I saw this redesign video. I may not like the redesign of the human versions of the mane 6 but i can tell that the artist was trying and has potential. I don't like the art style but i still want the young artist to improve on their art. These are mostly their headcanons and i can respect that. I feel like people don't understand how damaging it is to make fun of a young artist who is trying to do art and needs time and good advice to improve. It's not ok to bully any artists who are trying to get better at art.I've been doing art for 17 years and i still struggle with certain drawings like body types and need a lot of references to get it right. I think it's great if a young artist is willing to put their art out there.

My Idea is that discord would be with fluttershy trying to protect her from anymore harm, he would use his chaos magic to make marshmallows to secure her fall if she did fall or he would put a barrier around her if a snake or something tries to attack...Discord really loves fluttershy

For instance, if it’s not okay to race swap a traditionally black character and turn them white, it’s not okay to do it with a traditionally white character either.

yea i also went thru a period of art where instead of drawing everything like i saw other make i did the other way around because you gotta try everything to know what you like and dont like to draw. its hard to me to look at some of my old art now but i like that i did try every way to draw a nose for example and didnt just skip that step xD. like so now i have many different styles i can pick to draw things and you cant do that if you dont experiment first imo.

I think the first style looks more… skilled? But if it’s a personal choice to draw a certain way then it’s like whatever makes them happy

when I first started posting I only got ONE comment saying it was bad and it still effected me, I couldn't possibly imagine so many people telling me that my art sucks. It doesn't matter what style anyone perfers except the artists, I started doing cleaner lines because it made me happy, not because people told me to, my shadings all over the place because it makes *me* happy, and if their art makes Cassypillar happy, then what right do we have to say if it's bad or not? (I truly *don't* believe that any art is bad art, but some people do believe that.)

I don’t wanna complain, But the designs in my opinion kinda lose the charm of the OGs. For example, Nemona is a very energetic and bubbly character, but she tends to get nervous from time to time. And her Og design reflects that, she has an adventurous look on her face that wants to go out and experience the world, but yet she’s still bound to her formal school uniform, signifying that she’s a little unsure and anxious. The new design doesn’t really reflect the more reserved side of Nemona than the OG. The new designs are great, but some of the personality from the original is lost.

I'm genuinely afraid to tell people I enjoy My Hero Academia content because of the reputation it has gotten. I mean, it does have its flaws, especially at the end, the fandom can be… interesting, and I find the Chikazoku and the MLA situation hilariously horrific; though that is not focused on by many. I do like the series overall. I did not enjoy how it ended; nevertheless, it had great moments and fascinating characters who are easy to get attached to (for me, at least).

I used to be in an animation meme comunity when I was a "kid' and used to make the animations, I really liked doing it. Until there I made one, quick animation. No cleanup, no smooth animation. It was the "drunk dance meme" People went wild. it randomly just popped up on everyone's fy. I got around 100 comments about the animation being traced and about getting lot's of death threats. It even got to some "cringe compilations" the video randomly hit around 15000 views and had almost half thousand dislikes. and why did it happen? because I had some free time at grandpa's house
