thanks bro, thats the only auto fisher that have all rods and works nice. one sugestion, add an auto eat option to map with seeds which have hunger, because we cant afk fish in those maps due to dying to hunger.

How come this challenge isn't better known?

You can get Bloody Tears from brides and grooms in a graveyard, even at 100 HP. This doesn't give you much, but it does give you clown weapons. I think item frames are cheating in terms of count, to a point. The dirt bomb skips a portion of play that a player would have to deal with in a 25 dirt skyblock in getting a bomb, and would effectively start you off with 56 blocks instead. A single power cell is instead more restrictive than just having a block and wall... though I would rather not have a skyblock setup require a one try of any boss. 3 blocks and a wall can allow for normal Lihzahrd farming. Beyond that, you can also use harpies instead of slime rain to get blocks, which avoids the insane lengths of waiting for a slime rain. The starting hurdle of getting blocks is something I wouldn't think would change as my first thought would be of changing the enemy spawn process, but come to think of it there is one spoiler that may let you get some blocks to work with just in the first night. I'm more wondering what Red may do with demon altars, dungeon, and the handful of other unobtainable items in restrictive skyblocks. If you allow glitches, Porky completed a 1 block run.

Actually I made one map in Zenith seed (getfixedboi) and I have only this: 1 mushroom grass block at the sky with all npcs to be spawned there. Mushrooms glow in dark so it will help you survive. Mushroom grass also drops mushrooms from both top and down but it takes way long (took 20h time to finally make progress for npc housing) For golem I went with 1 lihzahrd block and natural wall along with altar. For making things easier for player I put one frame with shimmer bucket so you can make your own shimmer ponds to get varous materials. But to the left on map along with altar to be not obtainable right from start. (you will die from hunger until getting to it, so need to farm some first) For even more easiness, just add evil altar. There is also option with only granite block start in Cavern layer as granite elementals spawn as long as you stand on granite and will drop more granite for you.

Yo-yos make pretty nice circles if you orbit them around you at max length, that could work if you figured out how to measure them

Idk if this is good advice but maybe get away from bombs or even circles in general. Maybe try euler's constant for one of terraria's formulas.

spawn dreadnautilus, record it moving in a straight line and measure its speed, stand still until it does the orbiting attack and use its now known speed (in tiles/pixels per second) to see how long it takes to do a full circle around the player, solve for circumference with that information, use the same distance metric to measure the radius of the orbit, then finally use the formula C = 2πr to solve for pi!

Honestly great video, you deserve more views with the quality of the editing and such. I feel like if you explained the formula with the first few values it would’ve been easier to understand.

if you start in Party world secret seed, you can get jungle mimics to spawn that spew out tons of blocks. one of these blocks is mud, so you can actually start with only 1 mud block instead of 2 the party seed doesn't actually change much else in terms of gameplay (it mostly just affects world generation) so the experience should be mostly vanilla

With more knowledge than I had 7 months ago I have re-done my one block & no starting items challenge, this time on expert mode instead of journey and with the 1 block being leaf instead of sandstone, which has absolutely no use whatsoever. Now it doesn't matter what the block is as long as you can stand on it. Theoretically it would even be possible with thin ice or a cracked dungeon brick but uhhh I'd rather not. The run *does* stll use some glitches though. My final time after beating moonlord and getting all 33 trophies (boss, miniboss and fishing) is 72:58:58. I streamed the series on twitch and may potentially make a youtube video, but honestly I might be too lazy to bother with that.

I have made a Terraria Skyblock map for myself by the description of CRABBAR (I am surprised, he is not on the list), well it is similar to what you have mentioned, with one block of jungle, one block of water, a couple of dirt block and a tree, and ofc the Altar with 3 lizhard bricks. HOWEVER, the three lizhard bricks and the few walls behind the Altar is not doable. Because Lizards (whose dropping the summoner capsule for Golem) won't spawn, unless it is on lizhard bricks, but you also have to stand on lizhard bricks for them to spawn (so being in the temple area). If this not happening, you cannot get power cells. I am not sure how you think one power cell is enough to beat Golem tbh, and even if it is enough, you might need to farm Golem for another accessories or weapons which fits better to fight with the Cultist or give some advantage against him. And if you won't beat him, you need to farm lizards for the summon. With the limited resources, to be able to defeat Golem for the first try, you really have to max out your everything beforehand, and it takes a hellalotof time to collect all hearts, all the possible armor pieces and weapons (speaking from experience, even tho I played it in Journey mode). So, in order to get more lizards, I had to draw a looong platform of lizhard bricks with walls, addition to the 3 bricks what was said in Crabbar's video. Since then, everything went smoothly, although, I have difficulties of beating Moonlord (no titanium forge to smelt bars, so I cannot make clorophyte bars, nor making turtle or beetle armor, no glowing mushrooms, no shroomite armor, no dungeron, no spectre armor...)(I also found out that being a ranger is a best option, since magic items are very limited, and for swordfight, you need to stand close to everything, way more death being involved, so I stick with ranger stuff). That is being said, it is not the bare minimum for a skyblock world, but I cannot imagine how would you beat the game in the way it was described in your video. Is it really still fun? I mean, my version took me several months to finish, and long hours spend on fishing (without the angler - no sand, no angler, also no sharks or pirates), what would it take, if someone wants to play it with the two mudblock world, with only one power cell...? Even if it is possible at christmas, no one would be able to spend all of their christmas season, until they get enough resources to actually start the game tho... not without manually changing the time settings on their computer, making new and new christmas seasons in the game. Just how much luck do you need for even a falling start to kill those slimes, until you get a few gel and money... and you still need to convert the gel into blocks, before you can use it. If there is no solidifier, that game is no game. And as I said, I played on Journey mode. Yes, I did speed up time, I did stop time, I did gave myself the best option for fishing, since no other fishing accessories were being obtainable, and yes, once I got enough from everything, I did duplicate it, so I don't have to worry about running out basic resources anymore. I followed my own rules tho, I still fought in Expert mode, no God mode, no zero spawn (although I made up spawn rate when I needed to farm)... If I would have not done this challenge in Journey, I would have spent years in the game for only fishing, collecting stuff, without getting much achievements in the challenge. But even with this "easy" method, it was HARD AF. It wasn't always that much fun. It took a lot of time only WAITING around. Most people are not even like fishing in a normal playthrough. So, how would it be on this world? Yes, TECHNICALLY it might be doable, but for what reason should one suffer this much for to just beat the game? Being technically able is not always enough to say, it is doable. Because there are many things that prevent you to actually doing it, from having enough damage or defence, having enough time. This challenge is definitely not for beginners or even expert speedrunners, who cannot have patience in the game. Because the biggest challenge in this challenge is not the limited resources, but the time you spent on it. Nothing to do with skills, nothing to do with strategies or logic, simply you just have to wait a lot for things to happen. And evey other type of skyblock version you mentioned in this video seems to me just an expanded lenght of time you can spend on it, and it does not requires many high skills. So, I guess, you even can say, the perfect skyblock world is where there is a couple of blocks of sand as well, so you can get the Angler, and a couple of blocks and walls of Dungeon, so you can get bones - farming mechanical skull cuz you cannot make it at your own furnace by the lack of bones was a pain in the axx as well, just saying... (Oh, btw, you don't need a platform for the Old Man first. You can get there by building a platform by yourself in game, and he will spawn, if you build your platform right in the spot where you choosed to have the Dungeon on your map in TEdit... I have choosen a point, but I did not place any blocks there, I just built a wooden platform accross the map, and the Old Man still spawned later, alongside with the cultists now that I have beaten the Golem.) Everything is being said... I know many people are better than me playing Terraria, so, I guess it is just me, but I don't think I would like to spend more time on this challenge, than I have already spent, so I would definitely not try to play with even less blocks. However, if the challenge will be made as a seed by the developers, that is a different setup, since they - as I heard - will change some of the game mechanics to fit to the map and playstyle as well, so I will definitely try to play on that, once it will come out. But not in the current way. I would reconsider even to really add some sand blocks, since my playthrough was built heavily on fishing... It was still fun all in all, but I would never go for lower basic starters. It loses the fun part for me very much at this point, if the only thing I can do is standing on one block for hours, waiting. Also, if someone has some advice how can I improve my stats against Moonlord, I would appreciate it. XD It seems like I just has not enough defence, and done a just a little bit less damage that I would like. I died many times right before I was able to attack his heart, and I literally cannot get more powerful items. I'm using the vortex bow, holy or cursed arrows, I have Daybreak and Solar Eruption in case I need, I have both sets of Hallowed armors - ranger and melee - and the Stardust Dragon. Not many buff potions, just ironskin, swiftness, heartreach and golden delight - I cannot make potions without bottles - and I have a long platform full of heartlamps and fireplaces, but I have no other choice of making my health stay or go up quickly. I am thinking of using the nurse, but no teleporters for me (frick, why the mechanic has them!!! I have no mechanic without dungeron...), I cannot use pylons while fighting, and I am afraid if I put her beside me, she would just die before I can make it haha... I would have to stay in her room the whole time, and not sure, if that would be a smart idea... Thoughts?

honestly, with how little is really needed to beat the game in speedruns, I bet in it's simplest form it would still be possible.
