2000 Ford F-53 Triton V-10 bell housing rattle
This is s rattle sound i am having. I cannot locate it. I recently changed the starter. Maybe something is dangling on the torque converter at the starter? If its the torque converter, i suppose that would explain why i cannot locate a metal on metal sound around the bell housing… because the TQ is suspended in space? I’m graspin at straws here!

some time all you have 2 do is remove the unit take the fan off the motor shaft and add a cpl washers between the fan and motor. what happens is the fan vibrates over against the housing and it binds the motor so it will not turn at correct speed and thus blows a fuse. if the motor turns frzeely without the fan installed then try this before you buy a fan.
