ARP head studs will solve your issue, stock head bolts are super cheap, Honda decided to cheap out on their head bolts resulting in stretched head bolts overtime with the 1.5t engines. Buy high quality head bolts and use high octane fuel 90 or 93 and you should not have to replace your head gasket every 60k shame on you Honda for ruining your reputation. Imagine how many Honda owners are now Toyota owners just because they wanted to save $400.00 per car. Now we as customers would need to pay 4-6k to repair their mistake. Buy a toyota

I'm doing the exact same thing. I broke my regular passenger mirror and looked on FB Marketplace. I can get two used regular mirrors for $60 or two with heat & signal for $75. For the added convenience & safety, I think I will spend the extra $15. I will first replace the passenger side and then wait for nicer weather before I replace the driver side. Then maybe I can sell the regular driver mirror for $35 and gross pay only $40 for both updated mirrors. Thanks @taingTv BTW, please speak a little louder in your videos.

Wow you're right, that torque seems too little. These turbo engines are pushing a lot of compression for those little studs/torque. Thanks for sharing 🤙👍

I thought it was 0.00 on both sides with the arrow pointing to the dot. exactly. so can you please explain this. because I took my Honda 2009 to get it aligned and the mother didn't do it right. then I took to another mother fucker and the steering wheel is still a bit off. meaning that if the steering wheel is off the alignment is off. what do you think is the correct alignment in toe in and toe out.

I had a head blown gasket at 79,540 Honda accord manual sport .dealer quoted 7,560 to resurface and replace head gasket and labor.service rep said he would try the goodwill program Honda has but no guarantees.I paid 1500 and Honda covered the rest thru warranty. New gasket,spark plugs and injectors.

Nice video but i have a couple of issues. You should use a ball joint seperator instrad of wacking the arm with a hammer, didnt tourque the axle nuts and didnt replace the c clip on the intermediate shaft and i would almost bet you didnt torque the wheels though you didnt install them on video. Typical Dealer job.

2018 Honda civic SI 1.5 Turbo, overheated al 97,000, it also has blow by now, have you had blow by on the accords? When you have a blown head gasket?

Letting all you honda owners know that a low or bad battery causes problems with the vehicle. Stalls or hiccups. Honda dealership where I’m at said it was a head gasket and was trying to get me to pay I I imagine more than 4,000 dollars or trade in my vehicle. I didn’t believe that was an issue and scanned it my self with the one reader and only found and electrical code that popped up so I was like “it can’t be the head gasket….. I took a day off work checking for leaks in the coolant and other stuff and I finally fixed the stalling and jerking. Guess what it was in the end!!! It was a loose battery terminal🤣🤣🤣 Thank God! So I changed the old battery and tightened the battery terminal with a screw in between. All fixed now. I didn’t trust dealerships before and I still don’t trust them.😅😅😅

As of today 05/29/2024, my 2018 Accord Hybrid 2.0L, "Head gasket replacement" needed at 68K! How!?!?!? Alerted by "high temperature read out warning while driving." Other mechanics told me it's "odd" at that mileage. Honda dealership in Paramus, NJ made a video of the antifreeze residue in cylinders #1 and #2. I don't even drive the card hard and always maintain it well. Car complaints website also states averages 73,350 mileage prior to gasket blow out. Did anyone call/report to corporate? Any offered solutions?

For those who have gone through this head gasket issue, have you had to replace your entire engine or what the head gasket (bolts, injectors, plugs, etc) enough? I really don’t want to replace the head gasket if the engine has to go with it. Also does anyone know if bad spool valve is caused by blown head gasket. The reason I ask is because mechanic is telling me I have to replace spool valve before he can truly diagnose head gasket (although it is obviously the underlying issue - oil sludge, coolant disappeared with no leak, overheated once for a less than a minute before I parked). I don’t want to replace spool valve and have the head gasket wreck it again.
