100h for me was: 1 - D2R 2 - D3 3 - Grim Dawn 4 - D4 The only ARPG I'm still playing in 2024 is D2R. It's not the best ARPG, but it's the place where all my friends are. I just need to login battlenet on the weekends to find them online playing and chatting.

Shit video People rate Last Epoch based on potential and not on actual quality. While game has interesting fights, great gear crafting and some other features, but when you reach monoliths, game is shit, nothing to do, gear is so one dimensional and bland. POE is still and will be for quite some time the best ARPG. It might not be for the casual players, might not be fun in mid game with too much stuff, but its the best ARPG game

if I would recommend path of exile to a new player I would strongly suggest to do anything with projectiles and as soon as they start linking skill gems with supports that add more projectiles or chain or fork et, im sure they would see why poe is so good and what can be done in the game for me last epoch is not as good as path of exile for one thing only, path of exile keeps adding new skills...whereas LE only adds new items to modify already existng skills interaction...if LE has plans and finds a way for adding more skills that game could be easily one of the best...

Everything you said is spot on. I picked up pathofexile back in 2012 or something and as you said, spent 2 hours running and chasing quest markers. Act 2 boss made it clear I had no idea what I was doing. Slammed me straight back to Guild Wars 2 and D2. Tried it again in 2016 and had a better time since I followed a guide from the beginning. Sadly I was following one from Path of Exile Builds and that pretty much fell flat at the first real huddle (Kitava act 10), Thankfully, I was invested (time) by then and started learning the game. That crap channel taught me to scrutinise builds and spend time making sure it's not a trap. Not much has changed since. I just know which builds I want to play now and know which guides make sense. Still to try making my own build. Still to really get into crafting. Last Epoch? Just played the game and had fun with it pre-launch. At launch I followed the falcon build, but all other builds were just shit that felt good to play. Was crafting as soon as I got materials. I really hope this game garners more followers and players cause there is a lot that is good and enjoyable there.

It's a shame to see you reverting to playing with your higher ranked friend. I wish you the best of luck in your journey, but I really would urge you to consider playing for your personal development in solo queue instead of playing with a very skilled friend. Even as far as coaching goes, in-game coaching from a player on your team is almost always worse than receiving dedicated coaching reviewing your live game or a replay. I’ve been rubber banding all split and I think it comes down to my erratic champion pool. I’ve settled on 3-4 champs that make sense to me. Kaisa Vayne Naafiri trynd. Adcs so I can offrole botlane. I can relate to this video because I just played Vayne mid vs Ekko. I got multiple kills and it still felt difficult. The game became close at 40mins. One thing vs Ekko is not using cc on his e cus he can buffer it. Also not standing in one place to long to get cheesed by his w. Sometimes I feel like I have to go to bad plays/fights then it ends up going even worse. Play greedy with farm till big power spikes.

Ah, I thought maybe the duo queuing would only be for a little bit. It's hard to relate quite as well when playing solo and not having someone to duo with as the team play is worse and can't guarantee a good player. Also, I don't know how good it is if you're constantly playing with a master peak player that is bouncing between accounts. To my knowledge the matchmaking system would attempt to place people based on their mmr so normally a queuing with a master peak player on a master peak account, would affect your games, but with how your friend keeps swapping accounts every couple of games, chances are none of those accounts have master mmr like they "should" if they are his accounts. I'm not calling you boosted or anything of the sort, but I do definitely think the duo queuing stains the journey a bit, especially as the person you are playing with is actively attempting to smurf / avoid the punishment of queuing with them. I could be wrong as it is only a few games on each account, but it quite strange that in your 60 most recent games there is only like 2 or 3 that don't have a Yone top on your team. Also strange that you encounter that same account in the next 1 - 2 games before never seeing them again as they are replaced with yet another account playing Yone for 1 - 3 games, on repeat.

Only came across this series now, but it's shame you're duoing. Not in a it's bad, in fact it's the opposite I feel, but more in that I've also been trying to improve myself and I feel seeing your rises and falls while solo as a better chance to learn myself.
