Yes it was ONE of our experiences wild camping, which we have done many many times before! This channel is about sharing our experiences!? Hence why the video is our experience of this one wild camp?! For your information we did as always do our research but as you well know the weather can chance at any given moment and we don’t always have the luxury of being able to choose what day we can do these things. And that’s what happened, it was windy enough when we first arrived and then the wind dropped! I am not and never have been about representing anyone’s country, merely sharing our experiences. It’s ridiculous to come onto my channel where I share MY experiences and be cross I am not sharing a different experience?! Seriously?! 🤦‍♀️

I am a reasonable person and if you had maybe commented saying ‘ do you know what maybe your title is a bit misleading, it’s not always what it’s REALLY like’ and engaged in an adult conversation then we could have had a chat about it like grown adults. But you didn’t, you came at me aggressively and used derogatory terms, that doesn’t show you in a great light. However I have taken note of your comment and changed the title of the video. So you have gone from ‘if you live here you are now Scot’s’ and because you believe I don’t support the same political party you have written all these unkind comments? My ‘Ah yes’ was because I know that there are people that feel like that. At no point have I said I do or do not support any particular political party. You are making huge assumptions based on the way you read something. And showing an unpleasant side and proving all the more why I don’t talk about politics online.

The view was totally worth it! But yes not a great road but the road we drive in Spain was a lot worse!

Yes! Distractions and other drivers were my main issue 🤣 that’s why I got my girls to record it all so I could watch back atleast 🤣

I hate spinning rides! But rollercoasters I don’t mind 🤣 the views were so beautiful and totally worth it. Thankfully the road was pretty quiet too. Awww yes the pottery mushrooms were so cute I almost bought one but I didn’t! Love little mushroom trinkets 😍

@@thereesfamilyadventures Ha ha! It’s funny how we see each others difference in bravery! I guess I am also very used to single track roads as that’s what most of the roads here are like so I think that definitely gives me a bit of an advantage! We saw some silly driving though I have to say which worried more than the road it’s self 🤣🤣🤣

The B869 from Lochinver north is a bit hairy, massive rock sticks out on a tight bend and no motor home would make it. We’ve yet to do the Applecross route but hope to one day. I’m a nice quiet person but have been known to just sit there until the oncoming car reverses 2 meters back into a passing place as opposed to me backing up much further. I’m in no rush😂

Oh haven’t done that round! Iv also heard the Drumbeg loop is a bit hairy!? Have you done that one? Yeah I would do the same, if someone is closer to a passing place I don’t move! This poor lady was forced to reverse down hill on the Bealach Na Ba because this guy who wasn’t far from the passing place he should have stopped at refused to reverse. Could understand if she was closer to her passing place but she wasn’t! She smashed reversing down the hill but she should never have had too! Xx

Oh yes just looked it up yes that road your talking about it the Drumbeg loop! My mum has done that and she said it was worse than the Bealach! I am yet to do the loop. But want to as want to visit Drumbeg as looks beautiful xx

Oh gosh Iam going to have to ask the girls if Iv scared them for life!! 🤣 I was a little anxious I’d calculated things wrong and was going UP the Bealach but actually it wasn’t too bad! I was more concerned about there being loads of cars and campers on the road and it wasn’t all that busy tbh. Which I think helped. I’d totally do it again anytime of year. I bet in the snow it’s stunning! We do have a 4x4 truck so would go and do it in that if went in Winter. I am pleased the weather was on our side tbh although it was super windy the whole time hence a lot of music on this video 🤣🤣

I asked them out of curiosity and they said no they thought it was fun 🤣 Yea I think it would be epic in the snow. Will have to see if we can work it this winter 😍

@@Lifeofme1983 I think it looks worse in the video than driving it and it’s definitely people that make the road more dangerous. But we really enjoyed the road as it was pretty quiet tbh. Scotland is amazing! You’d love it, I don’t know anyone that doesn’t. Especially here in the Highlands. It was such an amazing spot and we will be back. When the midges have gone!

You’re clearly a better person than I!? The smidge stuff only seems to stop them bitting and not swarming and no amount of burners the smoking midge or citronella candles were keeping them away. We couldn’t take fire wood this time as quite a hike in which is what we normally do and keeps them away! Camping in a swarm of midges isn’t our idea of fun so we sacked it! But we will be back!!
