Yeah, it is a great city building sim, takes a bit to learn how things work, but once you learned it & figure out how to build your town properly, it's very satisfying.

Pizzadogr is really into Star Citizen now, almost tempted to try it out... but just got Headquarters WW2 & Manor Lords, besides still addicted to them, my wallet is also saying no to buying another new game so soon. I heard of this indie game called Vein, similar to SurrounDead in some ways, different style of gfx, with MP, and currently offered as free demo, I may try it out later. :)

Hmm, try to ensure you approach them by walking towards the Displacer beast downstairs. Also make sure you don't lead with a Warlock character, i.e. don't try to initiate dialog with a Warlock character.

I haven't tried that myself. but killing the ratman justiciar (Lyrthindor) is indeed one way to break Yurgir's contract. I wouldn't be surprised if you kill him 1st before talking to Yurgir, you get a different dialog option with Yurgir... On the other hand, I can also imagine if you kill Lyrthindor 1st, Yurgir's contract would be broken, and maybe Yurgir will feel it immediately, and just leave before you even talk to him! There're often so many variations to solve each quest, different ways that's logical that we can think of, this game is insanely good like that - kudos to the writers, love it!

@@StEbbs-bb7jd OMG, the possibility of this game! I had to look that up too, but apparently you are right, if you kill Lyrthindor, that really completes Yurgir's contract so he's free and also alive on earth, and therefore he could go wherever he wants & do whatever he wants... and he decides to stop by our camp to give us a tip on how to deal with Raphael! But I think one downside of helping Yurgir this way is you can't get his hand x-bow, which I think is 1 of the best in game, so if you don't have a character with a build to use it, definitely go for this option!

Yeah, I started marking available cars on the map I came across later* too, but since in this (normal) playthru I have backpack in backpak on - I don't have to worry about storage (LOL, I'm a hoarder!). I do that so when I die and leave my car somewhere not close to 1 of my bases, I know if there's another location I can find a car close by. But this is helpful for my scarcity run, where I turn off bakpak-in-bakpak. (* I said "later" above, because not counting the newer Scarcity Run, just this older normal run, I'm actually streamed Episode 30 already, haha, I'm just super behind to edit & post them on youtube. Thank you soooo much for checking out my video and just chat with me about this game! Stay tuned for more!)

BTW, I really hope the developer will add car towing in the game, so I can tow extra cars back to my bases for my collection, and in case I die and spawn back to my base, I will always have a spare car ready to go back to retrieve my other car. Don't think he has this on his roadmap yet... :(

@@nougan_gamer I am hoping multiplayer will be seemless so i can find friends to play in worlds and build towns with together. That, and building with concrete, metal and glass would be wonderfull. Maybe add a kitchen mechanic picking up mushrooms and vegtables. Make meals and possibly farm with irrigation pipes. Renewable rss for the win. Kind of like Ark Survival.

@@mrtielk2000 MP CO-OP is definitely 1 of the top on my wishlist too. You probably also seen the roadmap, it's quite far down the road... understandably since it's the most challenging feature for the developer to work on, him being a 1-man shop. But when it comes out, hit me up & maybe we can build some towns together too!

even if it was the models are all low poly just room for developement until the dev decides what he wants to do graphically, if it is not an asset flip then its just a unique art style hate it or love it.

AFAIK, this is a rather small indie game developed by 1 programmer, and graphics/3D modeling is quite obviously not his specialty 😅 that's why he bought some assets, and I believe he commissioned/contracted many assets also. Being indie, low poly graphic style would keep cost low too.

Yeah, I bet even ppl with lactose intolerance love cheese too, they just have to stay close to the bathroom... 😁

That empty house in the beginning is where I live for the first few hours of the game. A well in front for permanent water and plenty of building space out back.

@@mrtielk2000 Are you talking this house at 18:00? Man, I didn't even notice a well there! I gotta go back and check it out, yeah, having a well at the beginning, especially for a scarcity run is nice.

@@nougan_gamer I had to make the well and place it but, that is a great spot to set up in the beginning.

@@mrtielk2000 Oh I see! Love how the developer left some houses empty so we can build in them. In later episode of this playthru, I finally found a pickaxe to harvest stone, so now I can craft wells too. This definitely helps to increase viable location for me to build new bases!
