Hunt The Rackett
Добавлен 11 янв 2016
The pristine Sandhills of Nebraska are a spectacular setting for bird and big game hunting on 27,000 acres of rolling native grass prairie. For 4 generations, the Ferrell and Baker families have managed cattle and wildlife to maximize the health and productivity of these grasslands. Now they invite you to enjoy its many splendors. As the largest and most intricate wetland ecosystem in the United States, the Sandhills are home to mule deer, white-tailed deer, coyotes, red fox, wild turkeys, and many wild birds and fish species. Thanks to the Bakers and other large landholders, minimal land fragmentation has resulted in extensive and continuous habitat for plant and animal species which has largely preserved the biodiversity of the area.

Wonderful video-Stan you are the best-glad I am part of your tribe!!!
Here I thought Rick Marshall was a career Krieghoff shooter.
Great video! Is it possible to show the slow motion being a little bit slower? This is a great teaching aid to look at before you go out and shoot each time. Love it.
What the heck happened to this channel?
Mr. Baker, when you shoot the second target, do your eyes follow the barrel dipping over to the second target or do your eyes look for the target? Thanks, Gino
Hello Mr. Stan Baker learn one more New thing “” The bird clear the barrel “.🙏 Thanks from India/ Bharat 🇮🇳
Hello Mr.Stan Beker your one advice “”Swing to the bird & Shoot through it”” has helped me a lot. This concept has made a 26:34 difference in my Trap shooting . 🙏Thanks from India / Bharat 🇮🇳
👍Appreciate Ur step-by-step coaching video fro Trap shooting from all 5 station. Thanks from India or Bharat 🇮🇳
Watching these to try and get the upper hand on Richard before Nevada. Shot a 42 and 49 today in practice. Slowly getting there
Keep shooting my friend! it will come!
Fun and educational video. Thanks for making it
Lots of talking and very little on the tips!
Best tutorial. Love how the red dot in perspective of the bird. Thank you for this
Oh Boy, I wouldn't be missing any birds during that lesson.
lately, i don't even see the first bird break sometimes.
I can see myself in a Kolar,
Rick is a great guy. Shot at many shoots that he was there for. One heck of a shooter and love watching him.
Miss these videos Stan!! Hope to see you back soon.
I just started trap shooting 8 months ago. I got a Browning cynergy cx, I do enjoy trap shooting. My range in California holds matches PITA and ATA. My question What would be the next step or two up in over under trap shot guns, thank you, Cathy
Hey Cathy so excited about you entering trap community! I would recommend trying demoing the big three Kolar, Kriegoff or Perazzi. Once you have picked your gun go to a custom stock. I like Phil Simms at ProSoft. Cost may be a factor so if your shooting your starter good you may want to get a custom stock for your starter. Good luck and we'll see you on the line!!!
My first 100 was with a Kolar Max Skeet I got right out of the box. Wasn’t even adjusted to me.
trap is a team sport for the guys that show up together at a shoot
I Hope to have my k80 Krughoff in three week. Cant shoot the Browning anymore
Shooting tips? 3:20 hold point in high winds 3:90 Follow-thru after shot
The Kolar shotgun is the best trap gun ever invented!! Trap shooting is the greatest sport ever!!
found the heavy birds are when you combined wind and humidity or wind and wet ground. I shoot a Improved Mod with a hot 7 1/2 shot and it helped.
you are a inspiration for me. 225 straight. I have some improvement to get done to hit 225 straight
OH damn... my issue is the exactly the same as this young man... I see the side of the gun better than down the rib... and it does not matter if I'm shooting left handed or righthanded. I'm not alone...lol. Tape has been my solution and I guess I need to just accept it. Thanks for posting this.
I like seeing a target disappear or a circle of dust where there once was a bird. feel the bird break. Your starting angle pushes to the bird. Not all guns are equal.
I am learning now, 5 months after starting to shoot trap that the mental game is a really deal.
your right, i need to go to the RACKETT.
so many shooters talk about a gun that "Fits You" and i wonder what they mean.....I am thinking they mean, get your gun setup to your size-body build. I do believe some guns have the ability to fit someone better than another gun manufacture make and model. But the gun you started with may always stay with you
my advise is to get out their and shoot. Watch a lot of ShotKam from a guy that doesn't miss, Practice with your barrel to eye movement in your house while watching tv, *change your mount and form but not swing. I say PULL or OFF depending on how i am feeling. Also finding that perfect placement of my barrel tip before the bird fly's, helps how hard i smash them clays. I still have a lot to learn
i have coached football and wrestling and shoot a lot of trap. Stan your the one to beat
intense shooting
great stuff. i do like shooting birds
I am pretty good at trap and i am never to good to not listen.
Te felicito haz hecho una maravillosa compra que la disfrutes!!!!!!
Absolutely wonderful video-keep them coming and shoot well my friend!!!
I like the way you say the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over.
How has the gun treated you after a few years?
I like your video and your voice over. I do have a question if you don't mind. I have never shot this type of clays. My brothers and I would shoot for the enjoyment. There has been many times That I would go through 2 boxes of shells (S&W 12ga pump with 36" extra full choke) and never miss a shot. We never knew what the other brother was loading into the thrower (singles, doubles or triples). It got to the point that I would turn with my back facing the direction the birds were going, so I would have to turn around , find the bird then shoot the birds. I just had a knack for it. To my question is. What is the difference in shoot trap and shoot skeet?
I can shoot skeet with my good Ole 870 pump and costa sunglasses. Don't think I'm fancy enough for shooting trap yet , may need to try some fish eggs n carbonated wine first
P.s. my horse told me you look ridiculous with those blinders on , little does he know lol
Sadly trap is dying.
It would be so much better if the music was not there at all.
When reloading really starts to pay off is when you shoot games and want a magnum load. Factory pheasant loads are extremely expensive and don't cost much more than a target shell to reload. Thanks for your information it's helpful.
Any chance you post new videos?
This is great it brings back so many memories I started the same way but I also was a trap mechanic at the Ohio State and grand American and I watched Ricky he was my favorite at my age my favorite memory was going to dinner with you Jason booker dean bright Steve nylen and couple other fellows but frank hoppe and Leo were great shooters and idols love the mickey mouse shirts I haven't shot since 1996 but I still get online just to follow Rick I got to meet alot of the greats over the years and knew Ricky would be the best I'd love to get back in it sometime and take a clinic with him to reconnect he used to love to grab the cart rides from me lol
I wonder if he's still a Yankees fan?
I like the kolar that you purchased and had the video on it's a beautiful shotgun but some of us out here can't afford these beautiful expensive sporting play guns I purchased a TriStar combo Deluxe in the Trap model with the unsingle and the double barrel you can remove the trigger and it's a wonderful gun for people that can't afford you no guns that are over $3,000 I purchased mine for $1,900 and you should see these TriStar tt-15 combo Deluxe they are beautiful beautiful wood and they shoot very well you can remove the trigger assembly very quickly and take a chance or take your time and look at it and tell me what you think then I've purchased a Caesar guerini trap shotgun Summit and I love that I've been doing real good with that but I enjoyed your videos you're a very experienced person and explain the videos very carefully and I really enjoy them thank you very much and my condolences to all those friends of yours that passed away may God bless their families and God bless yours
Stan-where can i get a hat like you
