Bill Hader as Cold is something I never would have thought of but is actually genius.

This was perfect. A grounded story for our Spidey. We havent had that since Homecoming. And including Daredevil and Black Cat is the perfect way of encapsulating that street level drama. I feel like Daredevil, Black Cat and The Kingpin are gonna be the mainstays for this new trilogy. Like every film in this trilogy is gonna have a new sidevillain doing Fisk's deeds (like Chameleon was in this one). Is that what you had in mind while writing this? Also, I really appreciate you didnt include MJ or Ned in this. Sony wants to include them in SM4 smh ffs

The Robin problem gets alot easier if it's Tim Drake in the movies. Tim is the best foil for Bruce as he didn't join because of revenge. Also Bruce didn't want another Robin, so in the movie Bruce will be on the same side of the audience giving good reasons why it's not a good idea to have a Robin.

Nah sorry but 7 mins & I can say the film starting out with all these characters who have hardly or never interacted before just suddenly showing up as the team because they formed off-screen sounds forced & lazy. Like we haven’t had an avengers film in 7 years. Imagine if the first avengers filmed opened up with Fury saying “all here?” & then cap, Thor, Tony, Bruce, Natasha & Clint just show up in a jet. A big hurdle this film has is feeling earned

you are right at the start, most heroes in mcu or even in dc are mostly characterized by their origin stories so you can make a movie about them, expose their origins, put a spin on it, and still have time for enough exposition on the origins of the villain and giving a lot of context to the story... the fantastic four are the kind of hero who's origin doesnt matter as much as their character growth after their origin and their character relationships, so just 2 hours is too little, if you had at least 3 hours like the format that hollywood tries to introduce every decade and fails, maybe. I don't think a good fantastic four movie is doable, they work much better for a series.

Really nice casting choices. I like Richard Madden and Austin Butler especially. I like the idea of a Mr. Sinister story that takes place over a period of years. Have an opening sequence honoring the original five X-Men and then leap forward to the main roster the series would be moving forward with. As much as I'd love to see a ton of x-characters show up, I do believe a feature length film can handle only so many characters; about 6 characters in a team roster, 7 maximum. The team can grow over a series of movies, but I think the MCU has shown it can grow too big that general audiences can lose interest. I think Cyclops, Jean, Wolverine, Storm, Rogue, Gambit and Beast make for a well rounded roster and includes the majority of most popular, staple characters. More importantly is that each character should serve a different function than the rest. Having Angel as surveillance on the mission is a great idea. I recall Psylocke (pre-ninja era) served a similar function. She'd hang out from a distance and telepathically link everyone for communication, as well as keep an eye on the mission field and detect any new presences entering the battle. As for story, I think the script is the biggest problem X-movies face. You want to give enough screen time and character development to each character while driving the main plot forward. And you want each character to act and speak as the fans know they would, else we're all wasting our time with actors playing X-Men in name only. You want to balance out the story between calmer scenes of leisure at the mansion (where relationships develop and the soap opera elements happen) and the missions they go on (providing more action oriented set pieces that challenges the X-Men's character and gives us fun time seeing their powers mix together in fun, creative ways). I think for a first movie, teasing Magneto somewhere at the end would be a nice touch. He is a big part of the X-Men mythos. I do think we need a break from him though. Save him for the second or third movie. Make sure there's a really good, important story that can include him in the right way. X-Men 97 was so good, especially with giving Magneto some really cool things to do and explore with him. If the movies can't reach that level of detail with him, I'd rather the movies give other characters/villains some attention.

Absolutely NO to that team, the cast is fine, kinda boring... But no... This is the resident evil movies all over again, picking and choosing from all over the place... You start with the first team, and develop those 5 characters for 2 reasons... To know them, and see them for who they are, rather than what they can do... and to miss them, and be glad to see them again as early as the second movie... since the second movie would be based on second genesis, which is where u get other greats like Colossus, Storm, Nightcrawler, and yes, even Wolverine. Neither Rogue, Wolverine or Gambit shoul ever be in a first X-Men movie, all of them joined the team decades later in the case of some... Not only it wouldbt be perfect, it would be shit again... You cannot introduce more characters than the first Avengers movie had (most of the had their own movies or appeared in previous ones), without building them up first, so... The team needs to be smaller. I love all 3 X-Men i do not want to see in the first movie... i have their games, figures, clothing and other stuff, which is why i know, this isnt about "grab the popular ones for fanservice"... But about making justice to the X-Men.

I was so taken aback by Austin Butler as Gambit, but I haven’t agreed with something so completely in a long time. He would be perfect. Channing Tatum was fine in Deadpool, but I never actually believed that was Gambit. It just felt like Tatum cosplaying him. I think it’s purely that he’s too buff. Butler’s more slender frame would fit so much better imo.

This video is great, but it misses a few major things. You give us the character but you add no development. You add the grave scene and you add a lot of meaningfull fights like the end one with black cat. Felicia appears and is just kept. If this was the real movie it would need more attachment. We don't want to just have Felicia, we want to know Felicia. Just saying in between scenes has no development. Add a scene that is fully between Peter that isn't the the end scene. Felicia trusts Peter blindly and that is confusing. Daredevil is also skimmed through and needs more emotions. You also brought over Harry but forgot about him later. You miss development but other than that is is great 👍

This Felicia story has too many shades of Zoe Kravitz's Catwoman pulling a gun on falcone. I thought the goal was to differentiate her.

If I were to cast anyone as an older Batman, I would cast Jim Caviezel, not just because I really liked him in The Sound of Freedom and then Person of Interest, not just because he is super-handsome, and not just because he stands 6’2” tall and has black hair turning gray and almost blue eyes and an almost square jaw, but because he is also a good person in the real world, and because he played Tim Ballard in The Sound of Freedom and John Reese in Person of Interest, he can portray Batman as a noble hero and a friend to all children.

This was incredible! Your love and passion for these characters shines through in every moment. I had literal chills at one point and even shed a couple tears myself.
