I wonder if it would be possible to just push through all reforms on speed 5 with as few wars as possible. At least a few nations would be annexed within the HRE anyways but maybe you could bring it to just one nation with the united HRE.

The issue with this challenge is that Austria and a few other countries are OP right now. I'd say HRE challenges can stay but maybe make a few more rules to exclude countries that'll just trivialize the challenge.
well also the other player chose france, that is just awful, and it makes no sense to prevent using a nation when both players can choose it
@@Gaetano2005 I think you're misunderstanding my comment. I'm not talking about this one challenge or how unfair it was that one player choose Austria vs France. I'm talking about whether or not to ban HRE challenges as a whole or just ban a few broken countries because they're here to make interesting content not just see an Austria or Bohemia run rampant. The goal of the challenge is to lower the number of HRE princes not to annex the HRE. France is an interesting choice and Cara played it awfully. Austria is the meta choice and honestly hard to lose with. What Florry did is skillful due to the limited time he had but people have been doing similar by the early 1500s for awhile now due to how powerful Austria is.

@@theleontech1 TBF she's done better than others and has made some good plays. Florry has been ridiculous, and this is super in his wheelhouse. Hell even Z has struggled hard, but mostly from his internet issues.
@@yvoification there have been some super questionable 'content creator's that don't even have 500 hours under their belts in EU4..we have people like florry with 36k+ hours and people with a couple hundred...
@@theleontech1 She won qualifiers to get in iirc she beat Playmaker to get in although she picked China in a trade goods challenge and Playmaker fumbled by going the Ottobros - she literally didn't have to do anything and won.

I don't think France is a great idea here, but I could see Hungary or Poland working well.
I like how laith is desperately trying to make it seem like florry was lucky. He didn't need Hungary to win this. It was a masterful display, and Cara had no chance even if she played a better game, I don't know what she was doing.
I even said in the video "memes aside, this is an incredible performance" and that we'd have to retire any HRE challenges in honour of Florry - jokes are jokes man, I also don't think Habibi is ACTUALLY in my PC... unless...?

@@CSDragon i think they either forgot to record while streaming or it got corrupted/deleted. so they probably recorded the stream after the fact, making it have double the compression making it look bad. just my guess.

An interesting challenge, although it might need some tweaking, could be “For Odin!” As a custom nation of no more than 300 points, start as a Norse ruler, take over as many provinces in the Scandinavian area as possible.
I’d love to see a ‘win the most wars’ challenge.
Guys for next season maybe invite stronger players, not aim for just viewers? Cara, Qambit are poor skill. Or at least invite Ludi, he sucks but can at least tell interesting stories.

Yeah I think the Latin Empire strat is a lot less consistent tbh, especially since it necessitated having no allies to provoke Otto attack thus also opening the door to attacks from other nations like Venice while you wait for the RNG event. Attacking with allies while Ottomans are in Anatolia also lets you take more in the first war since Reconquest CB gives warscore discount on the cores, with easier ticking warscore, too. Anatolian units with Ottoman discipline/generals makes them ridiculous early game so easiest to just keep them on the other side of the strait imo
