Good tip! I’ve hit the bar a few times but the ball has just spun up behind me so far. Sounds like my luck may run out soon if I don’t take action! 🤓

@@CookingUpNades Yup, mine was also wrapped up, return slip filled out, ready to go, then I thought let's just try putting it up and hey it's ok. I have heard so many people returning them because of this. HOWEVER, it does cause a fairly serious issue if you hit that bar full on (as above). I have since bought pipe insulation lagging from a store, only about £1.80 per m. I've yet to hit the bar again, but I've steered clear of the driver and 3 wood until I'm sure it absorbs a bit

I can't help but think you're right ... although I'm not sure I'd ever want to write him off completely? The sport is far better off, while he's still in the game. ⛳

Sadly it would be a pretty tough round of golf now. The course has been left to grow out since it closed. It is a lovely area for local wildlife and free to walk around though! 😀

Still going strong. I had to make a repair to the net in the middle where most of the balls go but id say that’s normal after this length of time. I repaired it before it actually broke so there were no issues. Frame still in good condition but the bag is a little tired now! ⛳️🏌🏼‍♂️

He had no formal training, just like many others and he has made it work for him. If his swing has a glich in it, he will figure it out himself. Where today's pros don''t know how to fix their own swings. They have to seek out their swing coach.

@@dttruman it’s such a different game now from that respect. There’s a different coach for every aspect of the game at the top level. It’s also much easier to be able to see your swing back with the number of cameras constantly on the players too.
