Wanted to tell you, that game is receiving a huge update soon, and there will be a ton of new spells and demonic rifts from depth 4 and above (or should I say below?), and your progress may be saved only up to it, due to stages 4-20 being somewhat overhauled. how I can play this mode?

The red < or > by the little picture of your character in the corner tells you which direction the wave is coming from buddy. Also, The third level is really really hard. I keep trying to beat it as huntress. No luck so far. They don't give you as much gold between rounds on that one. It's a more open layout with buildings to explore and enemy turrets as well...

What does scholar's intuition do when upgraded by mage ? I don't get it?

Wand of Fireblast is Goated but if it's your only damage source burning fist will hard counter you, also you put Lightning in low A but Fireblast is also bad in melee not only can it set you on fire it has a blindspot in melee distance

Hmm. I read that you can put the wards anywhere you have vision, but does that also mean that if you have a ward you can put another one within sight even if it's not your sight? Need to test this... Or see if you find out in later videos.

10:02 you can drink a potential frost potion 1 more square away from the fire wall so it doesn't set you on fire but even though it's not in the 3x3 area of effect it still does put it out. After all my mistakes and stupid choices it's sometimes nice to see that a skilled player does something I decided to do so at least some of my choices aren't terrible...

The Geomancer is only immune when it has shield. You can see on it's health. When it has shield it shows something like 47 + 10. Once you break the shield with the pickaxe then you can do any other damage. But when it has the shield then its immune to everything except the pickaxe. Also all the paths are ALWAYS blocked by rocks. So I like to just keep the rocks intact and clear the walls around them so that I don't accidentally lose a path.

If you have Runic Transference, you don't need to harden armor. Just detach the broken seal, upgrade, and reaffix

Do you hate cave crawlers or ranged characters more? Do you have a discord?

If it were up to me, I think I would smith something for the last 2000 favour! We know we won't use the armour but we might get a really nice weapon to use. We're still looking for a faster weapon to build some combo points with! A crossbow could also be really good since throwing weapons build combo points as well and firing a bunch of darts from a distance could be a nice setup for the leap smash finisher!

20:55 this is why I always burn a scroll of magic mapping on the caves quest! I'd rather manually search for traps on Demon Halls:1 than mine out the entire cave looking for the boss / last piece of gold!

Hey that's not cheating! Clever workarounds are the whole point of challenges!

On that mining challenge the rocks next to the walls tend to indicate where it will open to a new section. I’ve noticed this doesn’t hold true for the crystal boss challenge.

I usually go down and clear the floor then come back and do the “jump room”. I like having the layout exposed and the enemies reduced. What’s your take on that?

i just discovered your channel and think it's great. before playing 'shattered', i had spent nearly 100% of my gaming time on Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. which is hands down the best game i ever played. but i eventually learned that game so well that it got fairly easy to win. (not bragging. it's just that i invested many, many hours to figure it out). but i've still never won shattered yet. your tutorials are wonderful and i appreciate them very much. i'm very interested in figuring out how to beat this puzzle too.

Never pass up Rat King when you have RoW +'d, the chests have a high chance to drop good items. Just some information for ya.

First thing, you can not get this equipment without cheating. Even with perfect run where every item has +3 when picked up and one ring +4 from imp (bc it happens sometimes) and used 2 Combine upgrades from troll (since you can use Upgrade Equipment bc we assume all items were +3 or +4 at the start), you'd still need 31 UPGRADES to reach it, over 2 times more than you can get, and you can not farm upgrade scrolls. So this playthrough was either cracked or bro used some kind of glitch.

You should get a weapon specialized in speed to increase your combo faster. And if you really just want the highest possible damage, use a weapon that makes no damage (ie less damage than your enemy's armor) so you can increase your combo infinitely.

When I have a full inventory I try and find the holes in the ground and throw my items that I want to keep for the next sell point or different reasons

I finished my 6 challenge Huntress (now have won 6 challenges on all 5 base classes). At the end there I was doing 400+ damage Sniper Shots thanks to my trusty +15 boomerang. That was a super fun finish! Also the kinetic enchantment on the spirit bow is crazy with Shared Enchantments +3. It means all of your throwing weapons and even darts fired from a non-enchanted crossbow share the same Conserved Damage buff! So a 400 damage Sniper Shot could give you 300 points of Conserved Damage, then you can throw a plain +0 Shuriken and do 300 damage with it!
