Are you thinking about the old wooden bridge with the curve? It is about 45 minutes above Dawson Creek. It was abandoned when the ALCAN highway was rerouted to help strengthen the road. Debbie found the attraction in the mile post.

Also, as for making reservations. A few of the longer stays were booked 1 or 2 days out. But most were targets determined the night before.

As far as our milage goes, the conversion of liters to gallons wasn’t always calculated but the Ford Truck read 9.5 mpg on average for the trip. And, as for our broken refrigerator, it still only works on electric. The propane part of it still doesn’t. But it will stay cold for 5-6 hours if we keep the door closed. @kelleysoutdooradventures9939 We are scheduled to leave June 16 2027. Doing a big west trip next summer and Nova Scotia in the fall. Where are you staying in Arizona?

I forgot something important about the refrigerator… we figured out how to use the solar panels to power the fridge when driving down the road on the sunny days. That has made the fridge management a little more easy.

Awesome on the planned adventures. We will be jumping around Arizona for the next 3 months. Tucson, Lake Havasu, Quartzite, Yuma, and Sedona if it’s warm enough.

@@TheGrayLifewithJimPearl As you know, when your 100 miles from nowhere and I really didn’t want to change the wheel 🛞, I hoped that the tire plug would work. I was lucky it held until we made it to Tok.

@@TheGrayLifewithJimPearl yes , on the over night kit. It’s an 18 hour drive each way from Dawson City.

Tomorrow we arrive in Tucson AZ. We will do Christmas there and Lake Havasu City for New Years Eve. Then a month in Quartzite, I keep watching the weather for Ohio. Sorry, but it makes me smile. I think we made the right decision for us,

Yes, came in the window and got between my eye and the glasses. I did not get stung but it made me jump fast.

We'll definitely do a video on the cost breakdown, miles driven, nights boondocking -vs- Campgrounds -vs-ELKs lodges. We're working on it now. (might take a couple more weeks)

@@kelleysoutdooradventures9939 At first we were thinking of heading there first when we retire, but there is so much of the lower 48 we have never been too. Thinking of hitting those first. We just made it out to South Dakota for the first time this year. Alaska will be our crown jewel on our adventures.

BF Goodrich A/T all terrain. These tires took a beating on the Dempster Highway. So I ended up getting all new tires. I was happy with their performance so I did get the same tires a second time .

@@TrekkingwithDebandMike Thanks for watching. The drive was amazing for us as well. Our drive up and back on the Dempster Highway to Tuktoyuktuk to the Arctic Ocean was exciting as well.

No weight limit signs were seen. But all the Big Log Trucks weren’t concerned.

@@stephenmarechek2753 After an RV dealership and 2 RV techs, it’s still not fixed. It’s only the propane side that doesn’t work. The electric works fine. But that makes boondocking a little harder. I think the solution is to just get a new refrigerator. We are heading to Quartzite AZ soon. So we will have to do something soon.

@kelleysoutdooradventures9939 If it works fine on electric then the fridge is ok. Would just be an issue with the gas side. Just because you had two techs look at it doesn't mean they know how to fix it.
