I have a giganteum and the leaves lay a bit more flat rather than upright. I think you got a green Congo there!

Great stuff. I live in Indonesia, so a lot better suited environment to many of these plants, but I still have the same experiences! My gloriosum had 2 beautiful big leaves but completely died back. I turned my back on it and just kinda let it do it's thing and a month or so later it's started pushing out a new leaf

Thank you very much for the information, I am thinking of switching to semi-hydro for almost all my hoyas and I had doubts, I already apply the mixed method: put down and mix (coconut chips, charcoal, perlite and pine bark) and it is going well, I will choose that. greetings from Peru 🇵🇪

Yayyyyy, I'm glad the latifolia has made a good comeback. Mine has just started another leaf.The phuwuaensis is really starting to get going now, and the new leaves have started to size up quite nicely. The best new leaf is on my Hoya finlaysonii, it's huge. At least double the size of the previous leaves 😮😊 It's always frustrating to have to start hoyas again. I have to start my Hoya Spring Rabbit again as there's a big split appeared in the main stem. There's not a lot to work with, so wish me luck. And yes, of course I was watching 👀🤣🤣🤣🫶🏻

Hello there wonderful plant man, I have a question about the imperial red plant. There are little stem things sticking up around the plant that do not have a new leaf growing from them if I'm able to I will include a picture. I'm wondering if you know what those are or will it eventually turn into a leaf?
