I see. That was the cancellation of stages 10 & 11 in Mali so the bikes can be carried in flight but not the cars thus the convoy. Some of the bike riders arrived late so they were forced to join the convoy even in their tired and lack of sleep state. The convoy was interesting as they had to observe local traffic law and speed as expected. Part 3 is coming up soon!

Thanks for those very kind words, I try to capture what rally & motorsport in general meant to me growing up in the 80's and my choice of music that I felt capture the emotions, drama, excitement, thrill, disappointment and agony of rally motorsport at the time and hopefully convey this in a music video as opposed as a documentary which a lot in those fields has covered. I might do a modern WRC in the future and hopefully I can do justice to the younger audience.

Thanks for the feedback, it's a real challenge to fit all stages spanning in 4 countries in a song. Some compromises made for originally slow motion clip or narrative sections that took some valuable timeline and had to speed up other selected clips to gain this back. As this was a comment in the past I have reduced the previous video speed from +50% down to 8-12.5% and spread it on others but this can also be tedious, anyways I'll try to minimize this if I can without breaking the flow.

Indeed... I have just completed the WRC 2000 series trilogy if interested its in 4k. Also finished a Group B after that and another one in the oven will be ready pretty soon...

I think it's the 2002 demo the piano is replaced with a synth but still the same identical riff. I might have ripped it from one of the demo CD I got back from WEXP or Cali music fest like WEXP. I'll find out and let you know...

Definitely! None taken- Group B is special and needs to be taken with utmost care but definitely will have the usual "rough around the edges" per se brings the mystical allure of that golden ages
