This is a simple line with a stroke width of 1 so that it is very thin. Then you can also use the Taper Edges to make it taper at the end. I can actually go a bit deeper into that in a future tutorial, aas I didn't cover it here.

Hi yes this si an issue with the displacement effect. You will need to pre-compose the orb before you add this effect. As it will only work when then source layer has the same dimensions as the layer you apply it to. So when you pre-compose, make sure you are using the same resolution.

Thank you :) Make sure you have similar intensity, etc. Of course it's hard to get the exact 3D position like mine, so you might need to play a bit with the position until you get it right. Also the material properties of the objects affect how the point lights show on them.

@@stephanzammit can you please give me some tips or make a video about how to remember the effect working while making something. like in this video you have used turbulent displace effects to make some water movement , so as a beginner i find it really hard to remember while i am doing something on my own, like adding jiggle movement on some object, and here i am completely blank which effect to use and its like puzzle for me because to achieve certain this you have to combine many effects

Unfortunately this will only work with advanced 3D or cinema 4d .. of course you can still use the expressions and effector on classic 3D and 2D.. just not the 3D cubes

In general make sure that also the naming of the actual effects in the effector are the same as mine, as these are used in the expression. Also make sure the expression is copied properly from the PDF as sometimes this is disrupted when copying.
