Speaking from experience building a lot of drag cars, ceramic coated headers are a must. They keep all that heat away from the engine, and increase exhaust velocity and efficiency by increasing the temperature inside of the exhaust pipe. You might wonder how the exhaust temperature does anything for velocity, and why exhaust velocity does anything for power? To keep this simple, hot air expands, that builds more pressure in the exhaust, that peessure wants to go somewhere - in this case, out the tail pipe, thus increasing exhaust velocity. Exhaust velocity being faster is good because it helps pull exhaust gases out of and away from the combustion chamber, which allows more, cooler fresh air and fuel to fill the combustion chamber, which makes a bigger bang, and more power. There is one significant benefit of ceramic coating for a bike that cannot be denied, even if a person thinks ceramic coating does nothing for power -- it keeps you way cooler. You won't feel any heat coming off the pipes, cooking your leg with a good ceramic coating while idling at a traffic light.

I really like the 101 but wish they didn't put the gold on it. It's already a busy paint job that does look great and I love it but the gold is too far and ruins it for me.

Its an interesting new offering, but would I let go of my '24 Scout Bobber Twenty for it? Nope. I prefer my Indian's to have a classic look and find it disappointing that Indian actually deleted the Twenty model on the 2025 line up...I think that's a big mistake!

Would you be able to buy the triple tree from the newer scouts and put it on an older scout in order to now have the capability to use aftermarket risers like you said? Do you know if the fitment of the triple tree is the same?

Curious about your thoughts on aftermarket/add-on modularity across all the ‘25 variants. Feels like it’s been under-reported a bit. Seems like they put a ton of effort into making sure that parts will fit on a 101 as well as a Sport, Super Scout, etc.

Appreciate the inclusion of decibel meter SO much. There are so many well intentioned exhaust comparisons on RUclips that, in my view, are worthless in terms of “how loud is it?”. There are just too many variables without the decibel meter. You can get a sense of tone without the meter, but not loudness. More please! Well done.

The increase in compression should help offset the drawback of the catalytic converters in the exhaust for better sound. Time will tell.
