Ron has 6 siblings Bill, Charlie, Percy(The Gryffindor Prefect and Head Boy from the first two movies), Fred & George, Ron(himself), and Genny(being the only girl obviously) making a total of 7. Charlie gets mentioned alot through out the films. Bill gets his first cameo in Prisoner of Azkaban when Ron shows the picture from visiting Egypt. Bill finally gets screen time in Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hollows. The Tri-wizard Champion from the French wizarding school in Goblet of Fire eventually becomes Bill's wife.

I am late to your react, for sure, but here in the U.S., we don't really have much of an active memory of any very old folklore. No one talked about a Philosophers Stone in cartoons, at school, in wider pop culture. A second point is, a philosopher here is a specific kind of vocation, and has lost its alchemical connection. Calling it a sorcerers stone at least conjured a wizardly image, but it is a vastly inferior title, for sure. A Philosopher's Stone being a real concept from history is just so neat.

Two mistakes in this film. 1.) the Top Gun school (aka. United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program) was never at Naval Air Station North Island. It moved directly from Naval Air Station Miramar in San Diego, CA (location in the original film) to Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada. & 2.) 24:58 The F/A-18E’s & F’s Super Hornets have software that will return it to level flight in the event of the pilot blacking out or otherwise becoming incapable of flying the jet. So, this scene would not happen unless the jet had taken actual damage. Such as the one that crashed from the “bird strike” in the following scene.

in the cafe scene, Hermione hit the death eater with 'Petrificus Totalus' that spell she hit Neville with in the first one, and what Neville used on a Death Eater in Order of the Phoenix, and what Draco used on Harry on the train in Half Blood Prince :) Muggles also wouldn't have been able to find Sirius' house because it's protected under the Fidelius Charm like the Potter's house was (Pettigrew was their Secret Keeper and led Voldemort to the place). You usually catch some really small stuff so I am a bit surprised that you didn't recognize Moody's eye set into Umbridge's office door (unless it was cut out for time purposes). Though you did spot the Deathly Hallows symbol on Grigorovich's wand shop wall, impressed! Food can't be created through magical means. More can be created from already existing food, however. The trio had been scrounging for food as they travelled, like taking eggs and putting a few dollars there in payment (if I remember right) cause Hermione felt bad about just stealing from people. That is one of the reasons that Ron was so irritable...he's used to meals every day from his mom or the hogwarts house elves, so...roughing it like that, on top of being injured, and the Horcrux messing with his mind didn't make it very easy on Ron.

It is a special potion that the pictures are developed in that makes them move! Grimmauld Place - headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix - isn't perceivable because it is under what is called the Fidelius Charm. A specific person is appointed to conceal a specific secret (such as a location). The chosen person of Secret Keeper, is the only person who is capable of revealing the protected information to others (Mad Eye Moody was a secret keeper of Grimmauld Place). If the Secret Keeper shares the hidden information, the person they tell becomes themselves a Secret Keeper as well. Which is how Voldemort found Harry's Parents - Everyone thought that Sirius Black was the Potter's Secret Keeper, but at the last moment, Pettigrew convinced the Potters to make him the Secret Keeper instead of Black because he reasoned that people wouldn't think of him being it. Then once he was, he ratted the Potters out to Voldemort. Black tried to warn the Potters but was intercepted by Pettigrew who blew up a muggle street, killing a few in the process, cut a finger off and transformed into a rat to pin the blame on Sirius and make everyone think that Sirius had killed him. Which is why in Deathly Hallows Part 1, after escaping from the Ministry, Hermione was going to go to Grimmauld Place, but Yaxley had a hold of her. She kicked him off at Grimmauld Place and re-apparated the three to the forest because by bringing Yaxley into the bounds of the Secret, they'd made Yaxley a Secret Keeper in turn, and he would then be able to bring Death Eaters there so the place was no longer safe for the Trio. In the books it is sad because they go more in depth into Kreacher's backstory, and he actually becomes warmer and welcoming towards Hermione, Ron and Harry.

I mean ...in the grand scheme of things, Hermione and Krum are only 3 years apart. If she was 20 then he'd be 23 and that's not so bad, hell...one of my exe's was 10 years older than me lol. I think it's just considered bad in the early years because three years difference is a lot in emotional maturity for some people (Though I had a friend growing up who was 14 and was far more mature than some adults I know lol). On the one hand, Fake Mad Eye was helping Harry, but on the other hand Harry was also only 14 and his opponents are three years older with much more magical training than he had, and then there's also the fact that Fake Mad Eye had ulterior motives for helping harry win as well as the other school's teachers were also probably helping their respective champion. I don't think Harry, Ron and Hermione live close to each other so it's a bit harder for them to spend time over the summers

The ceremony at the beginning is actually a fairly common one, that of sanctifying the sabbath on Friday nights, typically performed by the female head of the household. The candles are lit just as the sun sets. The prayer heard in the background is actually part of a separate sabbath ceremony performed before the evening meal. It's a blessing sanctifying the day that's made over wine.

7:55 i wouldn't exactly call a 13 year old boy a pussy just because he's afraid to stand up to his father's abuse. he doesn't need a "redemption arc" there's nothing to redeem. what he needs is character development, he needs confidence in his own capability to defend himself, not "redemption." this is a 13 year old boy who knows he can't overpower his dad yet. fighting back isn't usually how you survive abuse, you have to play docile and obedient in that kind of situation as a kid, to minimize the damage
