What an absolute gem of a mother...devotion above reproach. Truly inspired and in awe of her resilience and depth of her love storage capacity.
You are an angel and are blessed. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Caring for others is very hard work and it is amazing how much love people can give. Stay strong 💛
Great recording...... I love listening to your discussions. xxx
Aww bless him 😞🙏❤️
True
Completely wrong: diversity creates mistrust and also identifying group solely by their sexuality is disgustingl and unnecessary
Well done everyone involved. A very overlooked subject.
Brilliant video and very interesting topic - I hope you do a lot more of them. 💙💙💙
You’re only off by a couple decimal places, but it’s okay, because you mean well.
Whilst these 21 chairs are progress in the right direction, this video does make it sound like beach access has now been solved for disabled people. When that isn't true. Many disabled people could not even access this event to showcase the chairs due to a lack of hoisting equipment and there being no toilet with a hoist and a changing table nearby. The chairs are great news for people who can walk or who can self transfer, but for wheelchair users who cannot, the beach is still inaccessible. What you have done is great, but it would have been nice to acknowledge that it still didn't enable everyone to access the beach.
Hi Rachel thank you for your comment. This video was a short documentation of the event. At the event, what you rightly point out about the lack of hoisting equipment, was a big point of discussion and will be the next point of action. The collective mission of the Cornwall Disability Alliance going forward will be looking at facilitating creating changing place toilet suites to be available at the accessible beach locations with the all-terrain chairs, that will include accessible equipment like a hoist. Just for more context, our Chief Exec said in her speech on the day: ''While these new chairs are a welcome edition for inclusion, we won’t stop here, we know that for many people they will only be able to use the chairs if a hoist is available, but of course this can be incredibly challenging at beach side locations, so the only way forward is for more Changing Place Toilet suites to be available at the accessible beach locations, where people can benefit from full inclusive facilities, to truly meet their needs, and in a dignified manner.'' We can assure you, we will be putting your comments forward to the Cornwall Disability Alliance, as DISCOVER Voices is a service under disAbility Cornwall & IoS, which is a member of the Alliance. Thank you.
being part of this amazing organisation makes me so happy, you are all so amazing

Disabled and mentally ill benefit claimants are dying prematurely because of DWP intensive surveillance and the use of social paths and narcissist who have previously spent convictions recruited under equal opportunities to overtly spy on the most vulnerable leading to psychosis and paranoia, isolation and death. All this by a nastie Tory government who have pathological hatred towards the most vulnerable in our society. DPAC please keep a vigil over these vulnerable people
George Michael was a sweetheart, but he was murdered, same as his sister.

Why are we as disabled people at the bottom of the pile where rights are concerned? Animals have more rights! We are the forgotten, we are always the target of hate , labled as work shy, skiving, thieving benefit cheats if you put on a dress and paint your nails and call your self Doris you are propelled to the top and given the red carpet treatment everywhere you go , how have we come to a point where abled bodied people who yes need help in some quarters but should never be at the expense of people with severe disabilities.
Valuable information and support for anyone facing the best kept NHS secret! Superb advice Pauline backed by 1000s of hours of your time investigating. Thank goodness you are here - great interview! Keep on disrupting till change happens....Thank you for all you do.
Thank you for watching!
