@@erickoennecke3308 I was informed that the extra additives could be a problem for the DPF, not necessarily the oil itself self. They recently changed the formula of this to be used on newer models since shooting this video. However, I always recommend doing your own research to make sure it will work for your application!

We’ll come and bring it and let’s see who’s sounds best, 2007 24 valve compound turbos with a p pump 1200 hp, fire ring head, built bottom end and top, Betty looks like a beater on purpose, riveted panels, aluminum flatbed with steal bed, built with liquid spring suspension set up of a camper for hunting and fishing. 7 foot bed. 42 in boggers.

@@scottbraeden1924 thanks! I posted a link to the guy that developed the plans. If I remember correctly it was around $600 or so for the materials to build it this way. The one in the plans with the run is around $1000.

@@allansouza8949 the 22’s can be deleted but it’s a bit more of a process. They have to get an older ECM, remove your ECM, send them both in to get the older one flashed to your truck. The 22 year model has an ignition interrupter to turn the on cycle off after it is sitting for too long. That is what makes deleting the 22 and up models almost impossible.

Not a dumb question at all! I bought a set of crows foot, they sucked and I took them back. Slipped off so bad when I was trying to torque the lines. I ended up using my open end wrench and going for good and snug. The ones I used the crows foot on at the back is where the fuel leak happened. Grabbed my wrench and snugged it up. As a good friend of mine said, don’t He Man the piss out of them lol, just get them snug and add about a 1/4-1/2 turn on them. (Based on how tight they already feel when you get them snug.) This was a super fun project!

@@thejourniganadventures7391install went easy no codes , ran truck for a while no issues. However, I’m chasing down a tiny boost leak. :( Do the Sensor “plugs” that go in the threaded holes get snugged down to where the head of the plug is flush or do they just need to be engaged on the threads about half way ? I’m wondering if I may have over tightened them.

@@dylanfriedmann4319 glad the install Went well! on mine I snugged the little plugs down. I would say go back through and re-torque all of your bolts for the intake plate and then double check the boot clamp from the boost tube to the throttle body. Also, in my cold air install video I go over how the provided Allen key slipped for the monster ram bolts. I bought a kit of allen sockets to ensure I was able to torque down the bolt inside the monster ram to the right specs. Those things made a HUGE difference.

The barbed brass fitting that screwed in should have a check valve based on what I have read but it was just an NPT threaded barb from what I recall. I will pull it and verify.

The tank is 60 gallons. I currently have the tank dropped in but not hooked up. I have bought the sending unit, the brand is sea choice. It is a universal model that can be adjusted. They seem pretty common, but I have not installed it yet. Right now, I have a 12 gallon kicker tank in the boat with pre mix fuel to do all of my testing and running to see how it does. As soon as I dive into getting the stock fuel tank dropped in and functioning, I will post a video on that!

Na man no way! It was worth every minute! The amount of experience I got during this process and confidence it gave me is what made it well worth it.

You can find the simple plans for the overhang on my Google drive link 👍 mine measures out to be 5’-4” wide to fit between the trim and 24” of overhang. Yes, the material list is just for the coop. You should have a couple boards left over as I did. I try to use as many of my scrap off cuts as possible to limit the amount of scrap. Thank you! Our chickens are doing great and love the coop.

However, thedieseldudes is where I bought the tuner from and they are going strong. They have everything you need to put your truck on the Jenny Craig diet!

Not unless it’s cold outside. I uploaded a short of that cold start. The 5.9’s sound the best IMO!

Yes, your block off plate you put on the stock horn will bolt onto the top of the Monster RAM. I have done the same to my truck since this video.

@@thejourniganadventures7391 Maybe the cover works too good! I towed my 24 foot enclosed car hauler with a couple side x sides, so about 6,000 pounds on a 65 degree day. The rear diff temp was a bit over 100 degrees.

Did you check the MAS and ensure it was installed the correct way? There is an arrow that indicates air flow direction. It’s a stretch but can’t hurt to check it! I have had mine for a while now and it has not throw any codes. I have towed things as well and so far so good. Sucks to hear you are dealing with this complication, I hope you get it resolved.

@@LivingAnExaminedLife I do not tow regularly just here and there. I have not yet towed for 200 miles the most is around 100 pulling a boat. However, that is 50 miles ish each direction. I will keep my eyes on it but I have deleted my truck since this install so I will be able to read the codes if it does throw one. I have run it without towing non stop for 800 miles without a problem though. I am sure the added weight could have caused something to happen. I am working on planning a fishing trip with my family and will be pulling my old 22’ bay boat down to corpus this summer, Lord willing. It’s a tandem axle aluminum trailer and has some decent weight. It will be about a 400 mile round trip. I will see if anything funky goes on

@@thejourniganadventures7391 Best wishes it doesn't happen for you. For me, towing a 7,500lb travel trailer, I've cleared the CEL error at least 5 times with an OBD reader and it always comes back but only when towing, and usually only after about 200 miles. Most of the time, the light comes on when using adaptive cruise control and making a minor adjustment up a hill, and then backing off that adjustment. It seems the computer is sensitive to airflow parameters and tweaking acceleration under load tends to trigger the codes. While the codes are benign, no vehicle of mine will be allowed to operate with a gadget that throws false CEL codes. Hence, the dealer who installed the Banks CAI is going to remove it, and Banks said they'll refund me. They know there are issues with the MAFS it introduces, and they keep promising a "fix" but keep selling this CAI intake knowing it's going to cause problems for a lot of owners in outlier situations, like towing up a hill. As a software engineer, I don't think they can fix this without physically altering the design, and to be honest, I grew tired of the increased turbo whine and breathing noise caused by the Banks CAI. Looking forward to returning to stock!

The CAI, tubes and Monster RAM were not 3 grand when I purchased it. You must not have seen my other videos though.
