I tried modding my switch and it was a horrible experience. The only reason i wanted to mod my switch was the expensive rate of nintendo switch games. I ultimately decided that because of all the issues and loopholes and just waiting in general I had to do, it wasn't even a hesitation when i just sold my original switch and bought an oled and just bought the games and just downloaded the dlc's for free. Another thing, why should a game console be modded so heavily? I had to waste a day just trying to learn to set everything up, then at least 3 days troubleshooting, had to make my own rcm jig 😅 and still had issues with my switch. Kept giving me error codes and even after reinstalling atmosphere and fusee.bin and everything, still didnt work. I even tried a different game. I understand modding and jailbreaking a console for games, ive done it before on my xbox 360, ps3, pc, and even my android phone. Just because the switch CAN be jailbroken doesnt mean it has to. I hope for the switch 2 they can implement a theme or background type deal so its customizable. For me the process wasnt that difficult, but overall, i dont see a need to pirate games when they usually go on sale online or sell refurbished on ebay or amazon. Dont get me wrong i love free shit but for just the themes and possible free games but they cant be multiplayer otherwise you get banned? Idk. What I got from watching this video: • EmuMMC/EmuNand are only for offline plays. So this is good for single player enjoyers. • Turn off auto update on your system because it might render your CFW system useless, unless there's an update for it that is compatible to the latest firmware of the switch. • if you want to play multiplayer games, buy an original copy of it and boot your unit into ofw (original firmware) in order to play it. • Just be VERY careful when playing in CFW. I recommend turning wifi off while playing the games there. If there's something I missed, please feel free to comment it down below. It will be helpful for me and for the others. Thank you
