in the day time you can walk around anywhere in edmonton and be fine. At night is a different story. Downtown is real bad at nighttime, so is the beverly area. I got mugged 2x in Edmonton once downtown and once in millwoods at night. So best to get rides at night and not walk around.

I have lived in Edmonton for over 50 yrs. In my opinion the beggers on street corners, tent cities, and supplying addicts with hard drugs has contributed greatly to the increase in crime all over the city. The high cost of living, immigration, and useless government policies has affected everything. Walking downtown after 6 pm is dangerous and the police need the go ahead from city council to be more of a pressense. There has been some positives like breaking up tent cities and relocating the homeless to facilities that take care of their needs but we need to do more. Shutting down medi centers that supply drugs to addicts was needed. Stupid idea to begin with. Detox and treatment is the answer. Housing and the economy has increased crime and a change in the federal government is needed badly. Danielle Smith is doing fine as the premier but the Edmonton Mayor Soshi , a Trudeau WEF woke ideological buffoon ,has got to go. He gives himself and his sidekicks a big raise ,raises property taxes 8,7% , spends taxpayers money on useless things like lights for bike lanes, yet complains about not having enough money. What a complete joke this city council is. Elect a Mayor with a sensible vision fiscally, get the liberal/Ndp coalition out of office, give the police more power to clean things up and maybe just maybe things will improve.

Awesome van! I can't for the life of me understand why a city would make it illegal to park your own motorhome in your own driveway, which you paid for and for which you pay taxes. That's ridiculous, but we have a ridiculous government sometimes. Have you been able to figure out your fuel mileage on that van yet?

Had a friend who lived close to 118 Ave back in the early 2000’s. Never had an issue, seen some druggies walking around strung out who never bothered us. People and undercover cops trying to get us to buy drugs. That’s about it. Usually any stabbings or altercations were people who knew each other or the random bar in the area. More people, more poverty than ever, I’m also guessing it’s a lot worse now.

Yeah my life truly changed when I opened my eyes and realized that there was more than just a truck. It was wild. I couldn't believe it. Did you know that they actually make different types of vehicles? Like they make trucks, cars, vans. I've even seen these weird 2 wheeled thingers. I think they call them miter bikes or something? Idk man but it is a wild world. I wish people like you were out there to help educate us.

I bought a 1989 Toyota dolphin RV with 93000, 6 cylinder with the correct dual axel. The engine was partially rebuilt 12_13 years ago and the inside was partially redone. I just got it three days ago. I’m cleaning it. It does need a good cleaning and trying to figure out how to get the refrigerator to work and the rest of the system. It hooks up to electricity and the air conditioner works. I must be out of my mind. I got it for 7K.
