I loved this show because it was my childhood. We lived in the middle of no where. Had a phone that did not work, no tv at times, a general store about a mile down the road, dirt roads, a beautiful church down the road along with a brook where we could swim and fish. Simple times and making your own fun with so many characters. Great times :)

This is one episode that I missed somehow as a kid. I 've never heard the Christmas song either. Very enjoyable to watch.

Ricky Nelson was a good singer back in the 50's & 60's. I used to watch him on "Ozzie & Harriet" tv show when he was young. I have several of his cd's. I like his music.
