As a Sony A7R5 owner, I have looked into buying into the GFX system. I have owned many Fuji cameras and currently have an X100V, so I am very familiar with the system. Just wanted to ask if you ended up having any regrets about purchasing this combo? Just wondering if it’s worth the money and experience if I can get most of it with my Sony? Would love to hear your feedback and see if you found a use case for it or if you ended up feeling like there was too much crossover between the two systems?

I have now made 3 attempts to buy this camera. Every time I thought to myself, you buy a camera for € 4,000,-- and the AF hardly works and then I didn't buy again. When I switch from my Sony A7rIII to the A7rV, I also have a lot of megapixels, and a fast camera with top AF. But I think the medium format is particularly good. I also still photograph analogue in medium format. Do you happen to have a comparison with the gfx 100s II ? here the AF is supposed to be better? greets BM

Nice results. The GFX is different :-). Only the lens does not suit me too well. I find the bokeh to be on the harsh side. For my GFX my portrait duo are Sigmas 40/1.4 and 105/1.4. Both intended for fullframe but both are covering even the 44x33 GFX sensor. If you can, try them :-). If you like this Mitakon, those Sigmas will eat you alive :-)!

On your shots, the vignetting is very obvious on this lens. However, it renders a certain look to the images.

Is the 65mm F 1.4 the equivalent of a 50mm lens on a full frame camera

Amazing photos and colours. Curious to see what your editing process is like with the gfx. Also, are you always shooting wide open at 1.4 with the mitakon? I’ve been shooting with the mitakon for a while now and it’s been a hit or miss at 1.4, so I’m at f2 90% of the time for sharpness.

Manual focus isn't much of an issue for you?
