i completed my collection 3x in 1985 and 85-87 era .. Many sales at TJ Maxx and JC Penny lol .. Cheap also but serious note 35 yrs now I been looking for the Orange pair . Just got a nice pair of greens 5 yrs ago . Receipts , hang tags DS kids going to college when I sell 3 pairs out of 28 ,, It was nice being 19 in 1985 and new what I was doing . I see all the hype on PE and celebrity and I am like I have all the original 2s let alone 3 sets of 4s and 5s , 2 88 sets . 1-14 i have completed the original sets and I am more original and yes I got a pair back in 2009 from Og archive on the gram . Any Og collector knows archive , big bo strong and the dude from spain lol . couple of heavy hitters in japan too . People come to my house they get a history lesson and I been collecting since 1983 of converse black larry birds , lakers magic johnson and my 84 air ships white and grey JC Penny lol ... kids have no clue back when Jordan was selling in JCPenny and the sales of 24,99 34,99 etc is like no other . All 85s , 88s, 89s, 90s, 87 air maxes , bubbles have cedar wood shoe trees , Got a hold of my buddy that is craftsman in wood made me special cedar wood boxes for 85-91 .. room temps at 67.7 degrees. Black out room . Lights turn on to only rotate on Sundays as I let my pairs air out . I find plastic bags yellow soles quicker . Nothin better back then rocking bred 85s on hutch trick star doin table tops . I wear my chicago 85s all the time . the stars are great on soles and all jordans the soles are the tanks on the ONES lol ,, by far the best sole of any jordan . Over past 5 yrs the ones have shot up but I was buying ones in 93 and no one gave a shit so I gobbled up thrift stores then , fight club then visiting NYC , packer shoes and garage sales .. Dilligaf 3x23 on the gram . Visiting mom amd saw the video . good job . glad more out there loving originals then the hype BS lol . Love Originals and do not get the value n respect they deserve in my opinion but I am old school . Days of a note book n pencil 1991 going in to footlocker and asking to see the release calendar and writing shit down . No online , no nike talk , nothing . Also got phone numbers to other footlockers across country to get pairs incase different colorways and that paid off .. 42 yrs doing this but the passion hasn't left . Keep up the good work

That hanging never existed on OG Jordans, they erred introduced when Retros arrived. So, I know those aren't 89s😅😅😅

They put durabuck on cheap shoes, AJ 4s are Nubuck. Those old 4s aren't 89s, I know because I bought them in high school.

Nike are a complete shambles, their quality has been absolutely horrendous. I haven't worn a single retro that felt good quality. Adidas, Asics and New Balance are releasing better stock.

Shape wise i like the 2024 military blues its slope goes all the way down at that slant. The OGs slope as well but not how the retro is. Ppl just got this belief that everything OG is great and its not. I never liked the extra long netting going down to the toebox, the big ass mesh panel where the material bends and looks wiggly and loose the retros look better. The retros looks more plush on the netting making it look more intact. The 2012 and 2024 were good solid built military 4s when they released but i remembered the 2012s getting so much hate and ppl trashing it talking bout the quality when they had some of the softest and plush materials on it. Also and im from that era but OGs could use some redefining on some of these shapes, all the OG builds arent perfect.

The finer elephant print makes the shoes look less like a kids shoe which is good imo

These are way better than the 2018s. I noticed that all the OG colors that have been released fit very different. BC3 fit snug, very much true to size. While the WC3 fit big.

Im sorry but HVND 1200$ price tag is a big BIG NoNo if i paid 1200.00$ For a pair of his shoes that Hag Tag HAS GOTTA GO fsho 🥱🙄. I just ordered two pairs of Developer Boring shoes . The biggest thing ive noticed that has changed for the better in regards to Aid Jordan 3s is the back heal shape and the circular angle/design where your ankle sits in the shoe itself . Starting with the Fire Reds they noticeably changed it for the better!
