Just a word of advice from someone who deals with a LOT of vintage guitars with materials that gas off and crack over time... You really should not store materials that deteriorate like this in the boxes and especially under that wrap. If you allow them to breathe I think they'll crack much less on those midsoles. Super glue is also a huge no-no. If you apply super glue to something, you really don't know how it'll react chemically with whatever you're applying it to. Chances are great it'll do more harm than good.

The reimagined 3's are killing the original 3's i prefer the reimagined 3's they look way better material wise and shape👌🏾

These are not selling aswell as the ultramarines, ive doubled up on both, i prefer the Concords though, and may get a 3rd as Nike will probably release these again in 10 years time 🙄 Would be nice if you could scan that booklet and upload the scans 👍

How Is the cushioning compare to the OG?

The concord coloring almost being royal blue is disappointing , def won’t pay full price. Specially after the quality on the pair of ultramarine colorway Nike sent me.

The gold on the swoosh reminds me of when adidas retroed the Rivalry in 2019 in the gold color way. They went and made it look aged and made the gold stripes green to mimic that green swoosh. Adidas puts so much effort into their retros and they go nowhere with the general public unfortunately.

The review i was looking for. I ordered the new ones and just ran into them at a sneakershop and was kinda bummed how bad the new air sole looks. Also the swoosh looks so glossy gold it makes the shoe look cheap and ugly imo. They arrive this week not sure if i will keep them.

Hi. Great to have such a comparison, thanks. It seems you are lucky with your 2024: the mesh is not "crumpled". On my Ultramarine, it was fully crumpled, so I send back them. And on my Concord, it is more acceptable, but crumpled too...🥲

Weren’t the original AM1 royal a women’s colorway and the white/red were men’s? Pretty sure that’s why these came in women’s sizing

I just noticed this just came out minutes ago, I literally just searched ‘2024 180 concord comparison’🤣. I had seen a couple comparisons and this gives a good full picture, I got the new ones the day they came out recently and I thought they looked great, I just remember Jordan wearing these because my first Jordan’s were Jordan 6 infrareds when I was like 6-7 or something and liked them so much I bought 6 Maroons too with Christmas money ( It seemed like I had to have been one of the only kids who bought maroons but I liked them best after the infrareds) , I always paid attention to what he wore from then on and I remembered I was so disappointed with the Jordan 7’s ( I thought they were just lame 6’s with no air 🤣), that when I seen these the very next year during the 92 Olympics I wanted to get a pair, Jordan wearing running sneakers while balling, that was awesome but couldn’t find a pair in kid size that would fit me so I was pumped to finally get a pair that is a nice representation of the original, if not better.

Awesome vid! Curious though, as I never had the OG 6s…is the ankle area with the pods on the OGs inset:recessed or actually a separate piece of nubuck stitched in, similar to the front panels? Up until now I’ve always considered the ankle area a strike against the retro versions that I have, but now I’m not so sure.

Every retro of the 4s have been pretty much dogshit since the 99s. Its unforgivable that they try and screw us and charge so much for such inferior reproductions since 99

The white/infrared were my first ever Jordans in 1991 made in Korea. They were so iconic and the style was so different to any other sneakers of the time, mainly due to the shape, icy sole, finger holes in the tongues and also the rear style pull tab. Only thing I didn't like was they were super slippery if you walked on a wet surface because of the circular grid pattern they had on the outsole. They specific for the basketball courts.
