Meanwhile, Poles failed to fire Eberflus and pair Caleb with a new coach, offensive coordinator, new OL coach and decent offensive lineman. In other words, Poles did more for the OUTGOING quarterback than the INCOMING quarterback. LET THAT MARINATE...

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭It's crazy how the Bears just keep finding ways to under perform. This collection of talent should not be this bad, every single player of importance should not all suddenly be having their career worst years all at the same time. Now I'm in the spot where we didn't want to be: Feeling like this season is already over, and thinking ahead to how things will be after they make changes. It's another season of feeling checked out of competative or meaningful Dec football. Basically the same as last season, except now instead of speculating about the QB, we're speculating about the coach. Just awful. GB feels like a blowout waiting to happen, and also seems like the perfect Get Right game for GB. Bears are turning into the team that cures what ails you for their opponent.

Whats hilarious is they fired the entire staff except for TE coach and the o line coach. And not only did they keep the o line coach.. they promoted him 😂😂😂😂

I had the bears winning 7 games. I can only see 2 more games they can win

Robert, love the title and the unique representation of the Cardinals: ....the Bears get set to dance with Desert Birds. 😃 On a more serious note, hearing your perspective on the OL and how they made the Washington DL look good last Sunday really cemented what most of us Bears fans already knew, but failed to have it materialize in our minds. That is, the Bears OL has been quite underwhelming and is the foundation for the Bears 2024 offensive woes. More precisely, when you analyze the Bears' offensive troubles through the lens of a struggling OL, the season makes a lot more sense. As a duo, you two are like the Batman & Robin of Bears podcasts. I have watched 0 uninformative/bad podcasts from you both and you should be very proud of that! Especially since the subject has been a consistently underachieving franchise.

Gotta let Caleb play free . At this point, you can’t hold them back anymore. Flus got his point across about turnovers. Bowling them back now is just going to hold back his growth and development, now, The emphasis should be to get rid of the ball first or second read or run. I think with the line being injured Caleb needs to get rid of the ball or just run more often. It’s a fine line. At the end of the day, a gunshot dog isn’t a hunting dog anymore.

🐻⬇ Love the pod as always. I have to respectfully disagree with Nick on the end of the game time outs point. Who cares if the offense is prepared/rested for a Hail Mary pass? It's a low percentage play, and the only way they complete the pass is if someone doesn't do their job right on defense or gets mossed, akin to the Hail Murray. I'd rather call a timeout, get Tyrique's head in the right place, and have everyone dialed in so they execute like they are supposed to on the play. Maybe they even have time for Flus to think about dialing up a 5 man rush like the Lions did against the Vikings this year and the throw doesn't even happen.

The concept of "The losses arent on Flus, its on the Offense thats not his fault" is GARBAGE. He is the HEAD COACH of this team, hes not the DC. Its an offense and QB driven league, if your head coach cant create an environment where the offense and QB are thriving they are a bad head coach even if they are a defensive mastermind. Flus isnt getting the best out of the offense and the entire team lacks attention to detail. He better be gone 1 day after the season ends

Thats what drives me crazy about Waldron. Stop fucking having our WRs run these long developing routes when you dont have the line to protect it. You have 2 WRs who are electric with the ball in their hands, you have keenan who can still separate pretty well, you have a massive TE. There needs to be more short routes, caleb is extremely accurate in the short to intermediate. It literally doesnt have to be this hard. They have the horses to pick ppl apart. Its mind-blowing how stupid he can be.

Nick... It matters bc you are exactly right.. it doesnt matter what we think. But its CLEAR the locker room is fed up with Flus blaming everything on execution. Relisten to what Jaylon said when they asked him if the team still supports Flus. You can hear it in his voice, in the pause, all of it. They're over it brother. They are.

This the year for Caleb to learn and grow! Next year with a new HC like B Johnson and at least 3 highly drafted oline to protect Caleb!! And sign one of the better OL to compete and add depth.

Hey Rob. Love these streams but my sincere advice is that they need to be tightened up significantly. Make the podcasts the podcasts and the film stream a film stream. Five plus hours is just not doable.

We moved on from Justin because he's a QB we can win with, but Poles wanted one we can win because of. Shouldn't we apply a similar standard for the HC? Flus is a guy you can win with, but is more likely to coach his way to a loss than a win. I understand it's hard to move on if we win 8-9 games, but I'd hate to waste the progress with the roster and the rookie QB contract because we don't have the guts to find a HC that doesn't hang his hat on DC duties. Ultimately this seems like an end of year discussion, but man, does anyone have confidence Matt Eberflus can lead this team to a playoff win? Or a Super Bowl?
