In this video I ride a 2010 Harley Davidson Fat Boy Low. I normally drive a 2020 Royal Enfield Continental GT, but always wondered what it's like to drive a Harley. Using my lack of knowledge driving a Harley I give a perspective on what it is like to possibly help those who are worried to make the change over.

In this video I go over several of the mods on my 2020 Royal Enfield Continental Gt 650 that I use everyday. Some are just for the look, and others are much more usable than what came with the bike. After looking at the different seats online I misrepresented them in the video. They are both called touring seats one is just a Rider seat and the other a Dual seat. 0:00 Intro 1:40 Magnetic Tank B...

I go through the features and quirks of a 30 year old film camera, the Pentax zoom 90 WR. This camera came out in 1992 and used 35mm film. It boasts many features including a mechanical 90mm zoom, 90mm macro and water resistance. Riding through the Midwest. What did I even do to him??
I had both the RR unit and the alternator fail, so had to replace both! That was at 25,000 miles. Now on 44, 000 miles so just waiting to see what happens in 6K miles.....
Hi! The battery died in this camera while the film is still on (6 shots used). And now it started back at one and even if I click for a photo, it says 'h3' and doesnt capture the photo. I'm worried I wont be able to use my camera and waste the remaining film. How can I go about this?
Excited to watch your channel grow!
yooooo, i have been looking for something like this! do you have the stl. files or would you be willing to sell me one??

what a wonderful video, I have an old Agfamatic Pocket 1000 and given that I test it and it works, I would honestly gladly buy a flash like this from you (depending on price of course)
Hey what size wrench for rr screws. My 10mm is too big
I have this camera but am not able to take front facing photos, selfie style the button just won’t take?
Lot of people move the rectifier to the front of the bike, factory placement is bad they get cooked.
Hey bro , could you please help me out.... my. Gt650 works fine for the first 15 minutes( the time period for which engine is warm , not hot.. just my guess) ...l it starts to shut off randomly after getting hot or after fueling up ( everytime I fuel up , it starts to shut off randomly) and .... if I try to turn on ignition just after imy motorcycle shuts off or engine power cuts off , the start button doesn't respond and THE START BUTTON RESPONDS ONLY AFTER I TOGGLE THE KILLMSWITCH OFF AND ON ... only then my bike ignition works and my motorcycle starts .... and again after few minutes it will turn off while riding and the cycle continues ............. I observed this mostly after I put fuel into my bike ... also the MIL will turn on temporarily .... .. what might be the issue .... RR unit ? Relays? Fuel, pump ?? What is it??
Any update?
I've had the same problem. It's the killswitch. Spray some contact cleaner or WD40 and it'll all be good again.
Beginner question: how do you release a roll of film when it is finished?
the camera will wind the film back into the canister when the roll is fully exposed
This brand allows people to create content on maintenance tips😂 so i avoid to buy it. 😂
What about the tiffen pocket strobe 560?
Hey, I like your videos. I also bought an Enfield last week. Regards from Germany
Appreciate it man! Hope you're enjoying your new bike
Hi! I have this camera but I can't remove an old film roll. Any idea what could be the problem?
KNOXXX MY BOYYYY
The procedure for checking a battery issue is the same for cars and motorcycles 1. you start with checking the battery voltage with vehicle not running using a multimeter - it should read 12.3 to 12.6 volts 2. if it is lower you must charge it with a battery charger until it reaches 12.3 to 12.6 Volts - if it won't charge the battery is weak note: if the voltage while starting drops below 11 Volts the battery is weak - a battery tester tool will confirm this 3. now that the battery is fully charged , start the vehicle and check the voltage while running - it should be 13.2 to 13.8 Volts indicating proper charging 4. if it reads the same as when it is not running , the charging circuit is not charging - troubleshoot charging components 5. in this specific case the Royal Enfield 650 has a known weakness with the rectifier failing this known issue is due to excessive heat due to the location at the lower rear of the engine causing failure many owners have fixed this issue by relocating the new rectifier to the front forks with an extension cable recommended YT videos Interceptor 650. Rectifier/regulator re-location summary ruclips.net/video/oPRl3x5nqcI/видео.html email address is jamesengland1000@gmail.com also there is another known issue Symp: poor charging - no voltage at fuse box ruclips.net/video/QIFetThX5lc/видео.html Prob : corroded connector at starter motor solenoid fix: splice in new connector and seal with grease or tape also stators can fail but this is more rare and normally occurs on older bikes - see @sicks6six comment below hoping this is helpful for all RE 650 owners
just got this camera as my first film camera, this was very helpful. thank you!

This is the type of thing that stops me from buying a RE int650. The motor seems strong but if i have to rebuild the entire electrical system it hardly seems worth it. Wonder if RE will rectify the electrical weak points.
Is it true that Royal Enfield was originally a liberal woman’s rights company like IKEA, Kia, Nokia, and Tampax XL?
George I think you need to start taking your meds again
Great video😄
Thank you Greg!
Did you have any problems with vibrations for the phone mount without a vibration damper? Read a lot of stuff online that the small vibrations can damage the iphone camera
I have personally never had any issues with it. I have also never heard that vibrations like that could damage iPhone cameras. I would take that with a grain of salt, but that being said I also have no idea what I'm talking about. I have used phone mounts in my car, bike, motorcycle, etc. and never had an issue. Hope this helps.
How do you undo that alternator plug? Mine seems hard to undo, not sure how its done
You need to pull up on the red clip. It is very snug. I thought I pulled it up enough at first and it wouldn't come out, still needed a little extra. See 1:42 in the video to see how it should look.
Thank you so much for detailed video ❤
I'm glad it helped you out!
how your bike engine is so clean
I'm not sure hahaha probably cause it only has about 3000 miles on it

I get a h3 code on mines 😢
RIP. Sounds like its pretty common
Thanks for the vid!! Quick q - the zoom in/out buttons on my camera fell out and there;s a piece of tape covering up the hole it left. Any suggestions on how to replace with items I have at home or is that stupid lol
I would think the buttons are just contact pads so anything that conducts electricity could be used. I am not sure what it looks like under them but try using a piece of wire or a metal tool or aluminum foil to contact the exposed metal on the PCB. If that works you can probably find something that you could put in there to push.
You lost me at "what's up"
i mooded mine cool as well
When you try to release the shutter with no film, does the display show H3? Trying to figure out if mine is busted without wasting film.
Yes I put film in it without realizing what it meant. Apparently it means there is an issue with the shutter, so I couldn't ever get it to work.
@@TAMAdventures Thanks! That is ridiculously helpful. I mean, sucks that we both have broken cameras, but now I don't have to bang my head against the wall trying to figure it out.
@@PookySharif Happy to help!
Aslhi Hero bro
I stick small screws on a piece tape to keep from losing
Thank you for the tip!
Royal Enfield sucks almost as bad as the audio in this vid.
If you look on top of the left hand grip there is a button and you can scoll to the tachometer in the odometer.
Thank you for letting me know. I was riding my buddies bike and he didn't know it could do that.
@@TAMAdventures sorry. I rewatched again and the rubber nipple on the left side of the console by the speedometer is for the tach and the trip meters.
🙃 *Promo sm*
Great video. I'd say camera on you real quick for your take-off and then turn it around so we can get excited and feel or see what you see. I really want a 350 classic RE.
Thanks for the feedback, I normally would use my 360 camera there but I didn't have it on me. Next time I'll make sure to flip my camera though.
❤❤❤❤❤
can't hear you
Sorry I thought headphones would work for picking up my audio but they didn't work very well
I've been riding for a year now. My 1st bike is a 2023 Royal enfield interceptor 650. I've ridden her over 10, 000 miles. My 2and bike is a used 2008 Harley davidson dyna super glide, totally different experience. I love them both but my Harley is a lot better quality.
every bike I ever had with charging problems it was the stator plate, when tested with a multimeter they seemed OK but when you put a stator plate in from a bike you know was good the problem vanished, often the wrong solder can cause problems and the insulation is not good enough and often the bike needs to heat up for the stator to start to malfunction, german and Japanese stator plates are the best I've found, the windings and the soldered connections are the best, but as I say testing with a multimeter often tells you everything is OK but under load and when hot they stop working properly, very hard to track those faults down without a stator off a bike you know is OK,
Same bike, same issue, same fix. Dealer did it under warranty. Internet forums are rife with complaints about this part. Sorry you had to go through this grief but thanks for the fine tutorial.
Is that the correct mileage ? and the system went bad ? I would expect this system to last much longer... as in 25000 or more.... I have a 2020 Interceptor that just turned 5200 miles... so far no issues. Thank you :)
I've read online it's an issue these REs face because of its placement. I sure expected it to last longer. Best of luck with yours
which exaust you are using?
It is the Royal Enfield GT Continental 650cc S S AEW TE 102 Exhaust Silencer Pair. I got the bike with them so I didn't buy or install them. Looks like the cheapest place for me is ebay. I talk more about it in another one of my videos. ruclips.net/video/SqaSHYe6Qk4/видео.html
Hi I did everything for the remote and it’s still not working :/ any other tips?
Hi @isiahboi, it could be either of 2 problems the IR receiver on the camera or the IR remote. If it's the receiver on the camera there's probably no hope in fixing it. Luckily the camera has 2 IR receivers one in the front and one in the back so try turning it around and seeing if you can get it to work. If that doesn't work, make sure the battery you put in the remote isn't dead and that you properly aligned the contacts so that they're not shorting. For example, make sure the piece of metal that touches the side of the battery doesn't go under it (see 4:37) this process is a little difficult. You can test the remote without the panels to make it a little easier just make sure to apply enough pressure to the battery. If that doesn't fix it either check the IR remote circuit board to see if there's anything that isn't supposed to be there like extra solder, loose parts, or water damage.
This video is literally the only proper tutorial video of this camera. Thank you so much definitely a big help!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!

G'day, the single seat was an option on the GT and your "everyday" seat was the standard. The cowl for your seat in also a RE option. The list of mods I have is pretty extensive. Mostly cosmetic but have replaced the air filter with a DNA, the exhaust including headers with a Diablo system. As I have a Euro 4 model I have installed a Booster Plug. I have a Sahara Seats with a gel insert. I have the Hitchcock's oil cooler guard and stainless steel chain guard. I have replaced the relays with Denso ones and the standard plugs with NGK iridium plugs and NGK plug caps. I have a 16 tooth front sprocket. I have replaced the brake pads with EBC sintered pads and rear brake reservoir with a Rizoma race reservoir. I have the Hitchcock's adjustable levers and a Hitchcock's steering stem clock. I am now running Bridgestone BT46 front and rear. I have Halcyon round bar end mirrors. For storage i have the same tank bad as you from Trip Machine and the Raw and Rugged side bags. I have changed the blinkers (turn signals) with LED units from Third Gear and the rear brake light with a unit from Third Gear. I have the RE Short Flyscreen and Fork Gators. Also I have installed the USB charging port from Hitchcock's. And last and probably the best modification is the YSS shocks and fork upgrade. Cheers from Australia
Thank you for the info, I learned a little about the seats when I was researching for the vid but still wasn't sure. Your bike sounds sick dude you must've put a lot of time into upgrading it. With the 16 tooth front sprocket are you gearing up and giving up torque for a higher top speed? I should really get into some more advanced mods like that but I just started riding pretty recently. I find the suspension really stiff in the back and soft in the front when going over bumps so I should probably start with seeing if I can adjust mine or just look into a shock and fork upgrade. Keep up the good work with your bike, and thanks for sharing!
@@TAMAdventures With the soft forks I suggest that you replace the fork oil with a good quality brand and try 10w rather than the standard (which I think is 5w) and check that the volume is correct in each leg. With the shock, lesson the preload and it should soften up enough. There are really no other adjustments available without upgrading the components. Cheers
Nice bike. I should know, as I have one myself😊 Hitchcock in the UK sells stiffer front springs. Together with thicker oil that should result in a stiffer front suspension without the more expensive YSS and Matris upgrade kits. About the bar end mirrors. The original mirrors are for Indians with Tshirts. If "we" use them with a motor jacket (or with a T-shirt), we only see our own shoulders. Ride safe, have fun.
