Correction: the Cleveland Browns did not begin play until 1946. That was the year after the Cleveland. Rams moved to Los Angeles.

Man, if you never saw Warren Moon play, especially as an Oiler, look him up. The guy threw the prettiest pass I’ve ever seen. Their offense in the early 90s were fire. And the best team I’ve watched that never got to a Super Bowl. Of course the minute they changed the franchise name they get to one. And almost won.

I was a fan of the Miami Dolphins in the early 1970s and their undefeated season was an achievement that needs to be recognized. I was so disappointed the Miami Dolphins lost in the playoffs to the Oakland Raiders in 1974. Currently with 17 games plus potentially three games and a Super Bowl, a team being undefeated in season with a 21-0 record is much more difficult now. For that reason I was so disappointed when the New England Patriots lost to the New York Giants in the 2008 Super Bowl because that team had gone 18-0. The Patriots need to be recognized as the team that exceeded the 1972 Miami Dolphins achievement. The NFL should also revert to the 16 game regular season.

The NFL is a dumb league. Just bring the Oilers back and get rid of the trash ass generic " Texan " name. The fucking Cowboys are the " Texans ". The Kansas City Chiefs used to be called the Texans. Get rid of that crap name and evil logo. Tell the Tennessee Titans kick fucking rocks and that's it. Problem solved.

Boy, it's hard to critique this organization, they do so many things so well. But ... well ... the Super Bowl wins came in bunches : 4 with Noll 1974-79, 1-1 with Cowher over 15 (?) seasons, same for Tomlin between 2008-10 now going on 18 years. Yes, there were rival dynasties too numerous to mention here. But there were missed opportunities, too, as evidenced by a number of the comments here. And while this is a decent enough made video, it's lack of critical lucidity makes it something of a puff piece, all flattery little scrutiny. Sorry. 😮 🏉🏈

Funny, if they had just built the new stadium they'd be worth so much more money. Some people just don't deserve to own a team. The league has been hyper-capitalist and will probably force a sale

The 1996 Packers did not miss the playoffs. In fact, they won the superbowl that season. But yes, they did have the #1 offense and defense that season.

I'm a pleb but I'll never fully understand the constant demand for upgraded stadiums by owners in every sport. Fans want on the field results, good sightlines, bathrooms, beer, and snacks. That's it. No one comes to see the architecture and lighting. I go to the old Cotton Bowl every year in Dallas and it's fine. I actually prefer it to Jerry World.

How can we REALLY TELL who’s the GOAT, of all of the NFL RB’s (thus far)???… ALL of them were Great During their Time and Era. In MY mind thus far, there really Isn’t a RB that’s CLEARLY Head & Shoulders Above Everyone Else (In the ‘Greatest NFL RB’ pool) that Most people can Agree to… Similarly like who’s the Clear GOAT of the NBA (to most) in MJ. Therefore, there’s (Really) No Clear NFL Running Back ‘GOAT’ at This Time… They’re ALL Pretty Much Equal. But, it doesn’t hurt to Debate….

2:04 that wasn’t a fumblerooski in 1978, it was the “Holy Roller.” The fumblerooski was a deception built around intentionally fumbling by placing the ball on the ground during a snap and continuing to run the play while an unnoticed player, usually a lineman, takes the ball in for a score. The 1978 Holy Roller was the intentional forward fumbling to advance the ball and batting the ball further forward when pretending to recover it. While both deal with intentional fumble, definitely not the same play.

Prior to the Miami Dolphins 1972 perfect season, coach Don Shula was furious having lost to the Dallas Cowboys in the previous Superbowl along with losing in the 1969 Superbowl. Don Shula proved that he learned from those mistakes and vowed he'll make up for it by that perfect 1972 season along with winning another Superbowl the following season. And furthermore, Don Shula was a great mentor to Chuck Noll who would win back to back Superbowls twice, the first which began the season after Don Shula's back to back Superbowl titles.
