They are a Japanese player that's pretty good at this game! Unfortunately as far as I know, there's no video of their #1 score on this level. The strategies I used here, I found most on my own, but there's a chance this player is using better strategies I don't know of. And it seems this player dedicated most of their time playing Mountain & Big Eater. Their results on those courses are really good!

There's no way to record directly from the PS3, which is why I used my phone to record this gameplay lol And yeah, there's so many ghosts on this course lol, but I love that!

​@mrhollwood Not true. I have an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable Plus that can record PS3 gameplay on a SD memory card. You would have to turn off the HDCP to do it, but it worked really well. I still have it if you want it.

@@KGershkoff That's an external peripheral. They were likely asking if the PS3 had a built-in screen recorder.

Thanks. And no, I would never want you to quit. It would be sad to see you go! Seeing you get better at this game excites me. Honestly I don't want to be #1 forever, that would be boring to me. I think for me, it would be fun to compete with others and work together to push this game to the limits! That's why I'm always willing to help you, I think you have a lot of potential, and I'm very sure you could beat much more of my scores if you keep practicing! I've been playing this game for a long time, I've been playing since the first day this game has been released and I'm still playing it actively today. So I'm sure if you keep on practicing like I have, I'm confident you will beat me again and again! So keep going bro, I want you to succeed! And let me know anytime if you need help with something! And also, I didn't get this score to try and make you want to quit. I was just testing other routes and ideas to see if I could find something better, and I thought maybe getting 4,000,000 at 4:33 in the video would be a good idea, since then I wouldn't have to wait awhile for the extra life to spawn, and the strategy worked out nicely!

Also, did you see my messages that I sent you on PS5? If you didn't, go to your settings, and you have to enable your profile to receive messages! I think right now, you have your settings set to not receive any messages from anyone. In one of my messages, I made you a video as a way to help you in highway single train!

Me too! I think it'll be awhile before regular & extreme modes are completely solved, but single train will probably be solved first. I don't know when, but we'll see what happens!

Oh hey, I recognize you. I remember seeing you had some awesome scores on Xbox, great work! And thank you for the kind words! To answer your question, I delay taking a turn at one specific spot. At 0:57 in the video where I'm supposed to turn to the right. I delay that turn specifically and turn when I almost collide with the sleeping ghosts. If you slow the video down, you can probably see me do what I mentioned! That is the only corner I delay. If you follow my route and perform the delayed corner correctly, then that screen will be just like mine!

@@natakial2 No problem! Feel free to ask me anytime if you've got any more questions! Also I want to tell you a big tip. It's not as helpful in single train, but helps a lot in regular & extreme modes. What it is, is that I'll repeatedly press the pause button over and over as a way to slow the game down. By doing this, this makes things easier like catching ghosts for example. I know this technique may make the game not as fun for some. I thought about making a fan-made leaderboard to keep track of the best scores without the use of this technique. That way people don't have to use this pausing technique and can still compete on a different leaderboard! Unfortunately though, I don't have as much free time as I used to, so I don't think I want to use up my free time maintaining this. Hopefully someday someone else can do this, but we'll see what the future holds! And good luck to you on improving your scores!

@@mrhollwood Oh, pause tactics! That is interesting, I have considered it in the past for this game, but never ended up doing it because I didn’t feel a huge benefit. Having a separate leaderboard for it would be very cool though.

Yeah, I just recently hit 4.9 million here! Whenever I set a new score attack PB, I'll upload it to this channel! Also I just checked the leaderboards, great scores you've got. Keep it up!

Thanks! Yeah, judging where the ghost trains were at the end, I probably could've ate all the dots and still catch all 4 trains in the time I had left. But in the moment, I decided to play it safe, just so I could secure the 4.9 million score which was my goal. Maybe someday I'll try to improve this score again!

Lol, I guess you can kind of say that. I was just thinking of a challenge I could give myself, and thought about seeing what type of score I could get if I waited 1 min at the beginning. So I waited in the safe zone and unintentionally found this. And I wasn't even looking at the screen for a bit, and then when I suddenly looked back at it, I was very surprised to see the one ghost get angry and start going very fast lol

I don't know what game console you play, for me I play on the PlayStation 4. But if you're playing this game on a different version, the way to upload a video will be different. But I would just recommend you type something like this into the RUclips search bar: "How to Upload a Video on *enter your game console here* "

I figured at first it was probably unlimited too, and I thought I was just wasting my time dying over and over. But I was curious, thinking maybe the lives were at 99, just like the bombs. So I kept dying, and when I saw the lives start going away in the top left, I was pleasantly surprised lol

Thank you! That strategy I utilized isn't new, I saw someone use it before, but I never used it until recently. Usually it's better to go through that part of the course by eating all the ghosts with the power pellet active the whole time as it gives you more points. But I looked more into the strategy at 4:45, and while it doesn't give as much points, it does save about 1.5 seconds over the other strategy, but it's a little risky from my experience, as Blinky tends to get in the way a lot in that section doing it this way. But if it's successful, then I save time and don't lose too much points, which I found this strategy to be slightly better for that reason. After getting slowed down at 4:25, I decided to take the risk as I noticed the time I had remaining wasn't what I was looking for in order to reach the final ghost train, and the risk paid off!

@mrhollwood Then try it out. Do a few test runs and see if that improves anything. That's one of the great things about gaming, people always find new things when they least expect it. By the way, what's next?

@@KGershkoff I think this strategy at 4:45 is better since even though I lose some points, I gain 1.5 seconds over the other strategy. And I can use this extra time to make up the points lost. However, I don't think doing this strategy 2-3 times will be too beneficial. I think this because there's not too many opportunities to eat ghosts and use up the extra 1.5 seconds if I used the route a second time. But maybe if I got lucky and had a lot of ghosts get in my path and I don't have to go too much out of way for them. Then I could see it being better to use this strategy more than once. Also, I plan to do Championship 2 5 mins next!
