Pac-Man CE DX+ - Manhattan Score Attack 10 Mins. - 4,515,700

World record on December 11, 2023.
Nice improvement by over 10,000, but the score can still be improved by a decent amount, as Blinky got in my way a couple times. I'd say 4.53M is at least possible, but for now I'd like to aim for 4.52M next!
Also with this new improvement, I've become the first to score 15 million points for Manhattan Game Mode Total as shown in the video at the end in the scoreboards!

i can never help but think... wouldn't making more turns while eating dots save more time since you're cutting corners? i get why in some cases because of ghost movement but i feel like people haven't been trying to just cut more corners in general while eating dots and navigating to the bext areas. great job though. you're insane at this

Thank you! And yes you're right, taking more turns does save time, and I generally do a lot of that in time trials. I don't really do it too much in this run or score attack in general, as there's extra risk that the roaming ghosts could get in my way, or the ghost train behind me can try cutting me off sometimes. That's why I took a safe approach in this run. But after doing some more runs of this, I realized that Blinky doesn't really get in my way too much when taking extra corners, so now I'll definitely do runs a little more aggressively!
