I don't think this is a negative message about the US in general at all. Not a Canadian musician out there that doesn't realize hating on the US is career suicide! The real problem is that the few loudmouth "Murika" haters here in Canada get all the attention and the millions of us who love the place and feel like we're at home when we visit aren't being recognized at all! That's Lie-beral controlled media for ya! A good percentage of us here in Canada actually have relatives there! My family spread out from Nova Scotia, Ontario, Alberta, California and Texas! Up to the mid 50's the border pretty well didn't exist and we could move freely back and forth between nations! The only difference between my relatives in the USofA and Canada is a bit of an accent difference between NS & Texas from the rest of the above, and my American relatives find it normal to wear their shoes in their houses and we don't!
