I have the 75BD police and i love it for being compact, ergonomic, accurate and sexy to look at. I also have the Beretta 92FS inox and love it for its accuracy, the decocker/safety feature which i always considered brilliant, and the classic look of a gun thats too cool for words. I also have a p226 legion and love the size, the accuracy, the classic look of a kick-yer-ass firearm, but most of all the simplicity and genius of the design. It's like having 3 kids and asked which one is your favorite....I love em all! PS I also have the obligatory Glock ( 17 version) and although a good firearm its not as much fun as the above.

Wich aftermarket trigger works best?

Own one of these, take it to the range 15 yards. Rear sight is at center, gun shoots up and to the left every time. I let the range officer take a couple of shots. Two perfect holes... at the left of the target. Ajust the rear sights all the way to the right. Now i just aim a littl low and i hit dead center Will i need to make different ajustments if im shooting 25 yards or 50?

The first gun I bought was a CZ 82 earlier this year. I actually got interested in Makarov pistols after I used my dad's FEG AP-MBP at the range, which was the .32 ACP variant of the FEG PA 63, and he let me have it since I liked it so much. But .32 ACP is kind of a weak round so I wanted something more powerful but with similar quality, and that's how I ended up with the CZ 82. I ended up changing the recoil spring to a 19 lb Makarov Wolff spring because I found it a bit too snappy with the stock one, but other than that I really like it.

I agree with 5 shots over 2, however, accuracy has nothing to do with the guns themselves, considering that they have the same caliber but the "Derringer" has longer barrels then the revolver, the Derringer should be more accurate, the reason that it's not has nothing to do with the gun but has to do with the shooter adjusting to the pull of the trigger.

They make the upplamder in 410.

Yes it definitely works I never tested it for groups but it make hits on your target with no malfunction

esa pistola es buena pero tiene ese defecto cuando le subes tiro y el proyectil q sigue en el cargador lo adelanta y por eso se atasca tienes q subirle tiro y sacarle el cargador y acomodar el tiro q esta en el provedor hacerlo para atras pero n esbueno en una emergencia

I think your Glenfield Model A is the Cat's meow! It's gorgeous so honest and woodsy looking. I'd give anything to find one. I had a Marlin M60 "Glenfield" .22LR and I could occasionally outshoot other .22 rifles with it. Traded it for a Romanian Military Training .22LR which is also a fantastic rifle and much less fussy about ammo than the old auto.

The 971 with Taurus lock on hammer was probably the worst version of Rossi .357 revolvers. Their best 971 models are marked Interarms on the side plate.

The Romanians added the trigger safety which may not be popular with the purists out there but it sure makes the pistol much safer. That half trigger thing that is on the pistol by default is not very safe.

Recoil on the 92 was way higher than the CZ in your first tests.

I know little about guns but am I right in thinking if you pull the trigger with the hammer not cocked then nothing will happen? Does the trigger move at all when you do that or is it locked in place?

"They are basically the same gun" I strongly implore you to research the operation of a beretta 92 vs a cz75. The only things in common are that they both have metal frames, and are double stack, da/sa 9mm's.

It looks like a Buckmark Camper with a full length rail on top, Ruger Mk series Grip angle and a Marlin 60 trigger guard. I found a 4" here locally for $325 but ...I just can't.

dry firing a rimfire will damage reliability

I have several single shot shotguns throughout my house at times as a go to gun when I'm in certain area of my house but I prefer to use my double barrell over/under shotgun as my main home defense shotgun along with several Bond Arms derringers hidden under my kitchen table and bathroom with a gun magnet.
