@0:53 what do you mean the LH lounge in LHR is inferior? They have Do+Co catering, self-serve booze including shelf whiskeys, and a coke machine. The Senator area is the same but less riff-raff. LH is truly the best second best lounge in T2 after the SG lounge (1.5 mile walk away each direction), UA is fantastic but catering is inferior to LH, and we all know AC is glorified arctic carbon-tax DEI lesbian garbage fire. What is the best lounge in LHR for you?

I think this seat is perfectly fine for a 4-5 hour transcon flight. I would avoid it for anything longer, as the A330-900neo and 767-400 seats are far superior. I'll be in this seat on an upcoming LAX-HNL flight, albeit not a true D1 experience. As you mentioned, the lounge and check in experience in LAX are really excellent and better than AA or JetBlue, the latter of which has no lounge at all. As a SEA-based Delta flyer, I actually wish we had these 763s for our transcon flights. We generally get stuck on a 737-900 or A321neo when flying to ATL, BOS or JFK. The neo is certainly nice and shiny, but the seat is exceptionally uncomfortable on 5+ hour flights.

Thanks for the review - I never flew with China Airlines, but I opted for their A350 flight recently in business class from Seattle to Taipei. They are one of four airlines (the others - EVA, Starlux, Delta) with direct flights from Seattle to Taipei, and I appreciate them scheduling a 1:10 am departure, to stay within my Pacific time zone sleep cycle, vs Delta, for example, that departs in the early evening. The China Airlines cabin crew also had a great attitude, and was very customer-focused - I was never made to wait for any service request. I pre-ordered my meals, and everything tasted good - considering it is airline food. China Airlines also offers promotional free 12-hr internet access, you just have to navigate a few emails to get the promo code before boarding. Delta charges you $28.95 for internet access. Overall, when compared to my return leg on a Delta Airlines A330NEO in their D1 Suites, the CI A350 experience was better.

IB J is a pretty poor product, but far its standard is the incredible selection of Spanish language IFE.

their business class has been improved compared with 15 years ago,and the food quality remain the same level which is a good thing.I really like their air crafts design and the entire ambiance is comfy. i also recommend their premium economy!

I went to Bora Bora for my 10 year anniversary and I’m going back again in a couple of months for my 15th year anniversary. It was the nicest flight that I’ve ever taken for long-distance travel. I rode economy on the way there, but after coming back, I was no way going to not try the first class seats. Let me tell you they were the most amazing seats I’ve also had the pleasure of sitting in. The flight crew were also some of the most amazing and beautiful people you could have ever met. Yes it’s expensive and unfortunately, I won’t be riding first class again this time, but just for the people and they’re amazing Spirit and the atmosphere that the Polynesian islands give , this was my first choice for my anniversary
