This mod is way scarier to me than those hundreds of cave dweller mods

I'll say it here, I'm noticing the hidden keys in the 6 videos and trying to figure out the encryption, or if it is a steam key lol. No one else seems to have mentioned them yet. Also I love this mod. I frequently choose to willingly live in limbo kek

Id love for them to keep the limbo you're forced into easy (maybe a bit harder but still relatively easy) but make it so that you can willingly enter old limbo from there to obtain special items you can't get anywhere else. They could even make old limbo even more punishing than it used to be since this time if the player gets stuck they have no-one to blame but themselves and people won't be mad if the items are worth it. Id love it if theyd make it something that leans really hard into the "toying with forces beyond your understanding" aspects of the mod, like something that can give you godlike powers but is incredibly dangerous if not handled respectfully.

I one played a modpack that had this mod in it and the first time I died I was super confused where I was and actually scared by the Eye in the sky and the monolith, especially because using /kill @a DIDNT REMOVE THEM and I didn't actually know how to get out

ik I'm 10 months late lol but just a heads up, you dont need the ps2 placeholder on a cfw ps3. you can just put isos into the ps2iso folder on the internal hard drive with multimans file browser and run them straight through webman mod

As of now, it seems dimensional doors has reverted their change of having just eyes. they are now back to being creepy rectangles that stare at you.

Dimensional doors is one of the best horror themed modpacks, beats any "dweller" mod every time

for ur first console same problem, it reads cd i think Dvd (so i can backup and play my ps2 games event tho its a slim)single layer bluray but not duble ones so i just installed hen on it (it was not cfw compatible :( ) and now i can downlaod the games i have in disc and play them from the hdd(i also moded gta5 so i can play online in 2024 :) )

Back when I first experienced this mod (idk how many years ago), whenever I went into the dungeons I though I was done for because whenever I entered a door, I never got back out xD

6:41 "they just so happen to be missing the part that makes them a monolith." That's because in the original versions of the mod from what I saw, they were always intended to be transparent like that. 1.7 and 1.12 ports just messed it up

I've never been able to escape limbo. I've run around for idk how long, gone to the lowest layer i could get to, tried mining down. Nothing works. Time has no meaning. Just the void and those eyes. I can't even starve to death. Dying respawns me in Limbo. I'm using 1.16.5, and i think it's perfect. The mystery always eventually lures me in. It's traps are real traps, requiring actual planning. Getting lost in the pocket dimensions is another issue when your 20-30 layers in. When i inevitably fall, I'm stuck in limbo forever.

I added this mod to a kind of fantasy RPG modpack focused around Dimension Hopping. The player takes on the role of a character called The Wayfarer, one of the last of their kind who is able to travel through dimensions without dying. They find themselves in the overworld after traveling their unknowingly, after which they must kill the bosses from several iconic dimension mods, ultimately defeating the final boss of The Twilight Forest so they can return home. I tried to avoid any horror-related mods such as dwellers, the darkest mod in the pack aside from DD is True Herobrine, which just adds Herobrine to the game and has him kind of...stare at you, and if you get too close he despawns. However, Dimensional Doors seemingly fits in perfectly and entirely illogically, it's like it's entirely out of the world that my playthrough is set in, but compliments it so well. There are modern-day elements, liminal spaces, and true horror for my character to explore and be utterly baffled by. I absolutely adore it.

From what i remember Retroarch isnt a port on PS3. I believe it was originally developed for PS3. Everything else is a port of that.

I have manhunt 1 open on my ps5, and was hyped to see the game be manhunt 2 on that ps3.

I like the way you introduce the mods by showing the necessary details and videos to make it easy to search. I don't know why modpack RUclipsrs are so averse to sharing already released mods, even though they don't even own the mods.

Limbo should be really, really hard to get out of the very first time, all other times afterward should be 10 to twenty minutes max. That way you still get that first time, traumatic horror experience, but its not as annoying in future once you're past the scariness.

If you want to learn modding you should use fabric at first. its a lot easier to learn than forge imo

Fun fact with the ps2 games you dont need that launcher just drop the iso into a folder called PS2ISO and refresh your games list and there ya go

Little tip; if the PS3's gettnig that loud, chances are it needs to be cleaned up! Neither of my slims get to nearly that loud, so open it up and hit it with some compressed air! Watch a RUclips tutorial if you're spooked.
