I had light primer strike issue with mine when I bought it as well. Charter Arms folks were fantastic on the troubleshooting and they actually sent me the hammer spring to fix it at no charge. In a couple of minutes time, I had it swapped and it worked fine after the change out. I've shot several hundred rounds without issue.

Here is what I can't get my mind around: the lockwork mechanism of revolvers has been stagnant for over 150 years. Using gears in the lockwork instead of levers is more efficient, reliable, stronger, adjustable, and controllable than current systems.

I shot one in the mid 90s and decided I had to have one; couldn't find one for sale to save my asss. Ended up buying a Glock 23 even though I couldn't stand the plastic frame. I told mysef if it ever jammed, misfires, or malfunctioned in any way, I'd get rid of it and resume my search for a 4006. I still have the damn thing almost 30 years later!

Your not supposed to grip the trigger guard. Your support index finger should be pressing against your firing hand with your other 3 fingers and support thumb should be pressing against the side of the polymer frame where that rectangular part of the frame is. You'll have better accuracy and followup shots will be quicker.

Great video love mine, steel sights. It takes the g3 17 round mag and you can get a spacer from bloddy wheels on ebay, looks like factory with the spacer. I carry my g2c and g3c with the great mec gar 17 rd mag taurus sells, or really anywhere, love all my tauruses.

They make flashlight mounts that tip down to the side of the rail so you could still put sights on it and aim it with the light and laser. I know they say not to aim down the barrel for their legal reasons but a .410 should give a lot of recoil so using a red dot shouldnt be bad. They make revolvers in .410 so shooting it with both hands should be easy.
