Trimmer is the same as long as it has the x pro blade. The instinct trimmer by Mrd has that weird diamond blade.

I think the gold might have more rpm’s if I’m not mistaken. I thought this one looked better in advertisement than in person. I’d buy the gold or metal version forsure

@@cutsbycoast Both have 650rpm according to the Wahl website even runtime is supposed to be same though some claim 20 min more for Gold. Only meaningful difference i can that website is the Voltage 120v vs 100-240V on the gold. I think the gold looks better too but you are getting an entire set on the black edition for just $30 more.

They do open to a full 1 but i didn’t take these apart i sold them to a friend at the shop

Trimmer blades have been t shaped for a long time. I think they are a competitor but their build & batteries are different. I don’t think it’s a white label unless it’s a direct copy which these are designed entirely different other than the fact they have interchangeable battery system & t shaped blades.

When it’s in the dock you don’t see the green or when in the trimmer body. It is bright green though lol. A metal edition would be fire! There’s about to release a clipper to match i believe. Not sure what colorways will drop tho!

@cutsbycoast tbh I've only had 1 clipper and I can't remember the # but a lot of these are the same as wmark like vgr and Kemei but up until right here lately you haven't heard much about them. I do know I bought it on Amazon

What was the modification that you have to do?

@@cutsbycoast I used the cam follower from VGR and the little bar attached to it under the cutting blade and then the cutting blade and the still blade from TPOB fit perfectly. Let me know if you need anything

@Dave2662 yeah man the babyliss taper Blade is the best all-around still blade, in my opinion.

Is the jeep blade still available? I heard the blue cutter was too brittle and they took them off the website when i was searching for one. Haven’t looked in a while. Definitely gonna look into that!

@cutsbycoast yes it's still on ali express. But I put it on the kemei version with another babyliss taper graphine blade. It makes the battery drain fast and gets hot fast. But it cuts not like anything I seen before, it makes it run so much quieter with a good sounding audible crunch. It seems like it runs faster, which is probably why it gets hot fast. I'll be experimenting with other still blades and clippers. It's probably best on a slower motor .

And that’s the ONLY reason I still use the Wahl foil shaver because I can locate the replacements damn near anywhere

@BradTheBarber1 yep definitely . And here in the US we dont want a fragmented system of a bunch of different sized foil heads.

Overall budget yes but this is under $100. Play has got to go in the overall best clipper category. I originally deemed it budget but it’s great quality start to finish
