Hey when can you review the caliber clippers and trimmer I have been eyeing them and wanted to know your opinion on them. For example caliber focus clipper and caliber laser trimmer.
@@cutsbycoastpretty sure madeshows new trimmer has two speeds, and they also released another with a slimline size blade, I put that on my m9s and they perform even better than the stock blade, plus the size is mad convenient. Honestly I've got the m8f/M9 and don't feel the need to switch anytime soon🔥
Madeshow's M10 is like a one-speed 2020c. The R77f is like the Onyx, and this M8f is also like the Onyx but just built like a tank with a really solid, sturdy premium feel. Any of these Madeshow clippers cut really smooth and plows through anything you throw at it at the slower speed even. I personally don't like fading with them though, I prefer fading with a Magic Clip, Senior or Rebel to any JRL/Madeshow clipper And with regards to the trimmers, I tried every combination, they just don't hit when you need them to. Sure they can give a decent neck taper lineup, and maybe a sharp c-cup, but for laser lines on beard lineups it struggles bigtime. It is the ultimate balding trimmer though, it balds out really well and I use both my Madeshows for balding only lol
Also that comment about the blade being sharp on the trimmer, this is the only way you can get this trimmer to do not great but decent lineups, by setting it irritatingly close for your clients. Other trimmers can slice sharp lines without any irritation. This trimmer and mainly blade combination just isn't cut out for the job
After some time with them i definitely agree they’re slightly bulky for fading but a good debulking clipper! Trimmers are just decent but i wonder if you swap them for a different blade or if you even can
Felt kinda the same , if u gap em they end up being too sharp, but if u get the madeshow slim line style blade they released recently, its much much better imo, one of my go tos alongside my tpob goblins and x trimmers. The size of the blade is a big bonus too compared to those, not to mention how quiet they are/easy to gap
Blades can be swapped for an Andis Outliner or GTX blade, I put my regular Outliner blade on and it works ok, but gets hot real quick. I might try the GTX some time. Both of these blades will work way better than the regular Madeshow blades And Sohail, thanks for the suggestion, I might give that a try. I wouldn't be surprised if TPOB had that blade on his Play trimmer

I think the M8F feels more quality but i like the R77R being a smaller shape. Both great factories forsure!
