I don’t have a single drop of Spanish/Hispanic/Latin blood in me. Not nearly, I am Scot/Irish, but this scene still gives me goosebumps and chills. Louis 14th never tired of the pomp and formality of court. He saw it as his right and used it as a tool to keep his nobles under his thumb.
