Took my 12-year-old son to his first concert ever a few years back - Weezer and the Flaming Lips. The whole show was a blast, but for me, it peaked with both bands performing this song together.

This is a beautifully written song, and I love listening to it...on the album. The thing about The Flaming Lips is that their singer is fucking terrible live. Just completely shit sounding. I'm not trolling or being insulting, he is an amazing songwriter! I just would never see them live because his terrible live singing would just ruin the entire experience for me.

I wasn't sure if I was digging it, then it dropped into Breathe and my mind exploded.

I think the emotion really comes across in this version of the song. It really feels genuine.

This is a wonderful majestic way to start my journey of appreciating their music. I saw them by live back in '07.

@captdrastic Yep. I was there. That was my first time seeing them live. I'll do my best to make sure i see them whenever they come back. At times I felt incredible, and other times I was on the verge of tears. Only had that happen at one other concert, and that was The Swell Season at The Paramount in November of 09.
