I remember you always stopped there in a coach up to London that was late 50's. It was a main coach stop but withe demise of the coaches it probably doesn't happen anymore. Wonderful to see it again and that its still there!

Thanks again as always mate, now my favourite channel by a mile, love it. You really have got this sorted. Calm but interesting and your knowledge doe it. Used to go to Covent Garden in the 60's as a lorry drivers mate (as well as Spitalfields) taking boxes of fruit and veg to the wholesalers. Main thing I remember other than the graft, was fry ups and a pint of beer around 3am, happy days. Avid viewer!

I worked down The Cut for over 15 years , we use to have an Electricsl shop down there , EBS Electrical , just opposite the Windmill pub , it was great independent shop . Good old days

You need to get over to Cafe Paolo, 1 The Vale, Acton. He's not cheap but the quality of the ingredients will knock your socks off. His Full English is a masterpiece but you must be hungry as it's absolutely massive.
