Wow it's been years since I visited Brick Lane. They were still selling live chickens so that'll tell you how long ago it was. Definitely worth another visit cheers Simon.
That was facinating. The art and graffiti were amazing. I really need to watch these AFTER I eat. They make me more hungry. If I ever get back to London I will be making a list of these places. Thanks for doing these.
Thanks for the support Susan... yes theres lot of totally different areas in london.. and so much food its hard to know where to start !!!! Cheers 👍🇬🇧😁
Loved the slow visual intro and soundtrack and all the vinyl. There's a tiny place a few yards down the right hand side of Wardour St, (off Oxford St) and I love their brisket with all the salads..they do all the different meats in sandwiches, sit in or take away. Salt beef is gorgeous.
Seeing those booths reminded me of walking through a county or state fair here in the States, but I don’t recall the food offerings being as delectable. Thought we might see you sipping on coconut juice. Keep on the move, Simon!
Really interesting place love the walking bit at the end with music it gives you a good feel for the place Keep up the good work and you will be kept 😂😅😂
Great to hear you like these london vlogs kevin.. yes i think adding a bit of music and just pointing the camera captures it pretty well.. .. cheers 👍🇬🇧😁
Born on the South Side ,I don't know the East End at all. Both my parents were proper Cockneys and all their families were as well. Those markets looked really interesting. Thanks for a nice walk round.😊
Top stuff this, many many years since I've had a begal from there. Well, it was definitely a Loaded bagel, great additional channel to the other one as well.
Proper love this place, if im ever within 30mins of this place im always guaranteed to be heading there for 2 bagels, 1smoked salmon and 1 salt beef = im in heaven
Loved it! Brick Lane has some awesome vintage shops. I always feel sorry for the other beigel shop though! Speaking of the East End have you been to E Pellicci on Bethnal Green? Might be an idea for a review!?
Yes I love brick lane Darcy... the other beige shop was closed for I while but I think it's back open now... might hav to do a comparison next time !!! E PELLICICI Is on the list !! Just havnt had a chance yet... very soon tho .. appreciate you watching 👍🇬🇧😁
Used to love a Brick Lane Beigel😋 Corrr, that salt beef, used to love all the Jewish delis in Golders Green ( Norf London) mostly gone now. Good stuff mate Deeeeelish 😊
I used to work in Newspaper Wholesale in Silvertown. On a Saturday night the boys used to drive down here and get some Beigels. Always with salt beef nice and fatty and mustard.
@@LOADEDLONDON-yi7ey not too bad tar.. look forward to the next one mate 👍🏻.. maybe a weekend darn the smoke in the summer n hit you up for a joint pie tasting 😂
Brick Lane is a mecca for all sorts, the Indian restaurants aren't so good which is a pity. However, street food is fab, especially Upmarket. We were there today actually. Lots of buzz, music, young folk mostly and tourists of course. As for the Bagel Shop. yes, the salt beef is wonderful and there is plenty of selection and you can see the bagels being cooked in front of you, you can buy them single or by the dozen. Unfortunately, the prices have trebled in recent times. I was shocked that a salt beef bagel is almost 7 quid, it's not worth that. I understand lots of prices have increased but a couple of years ago this was less than 3 quid. They have a massive turnover and are open 24 hours, they do not need to be so expensive and are taking the proverbial to be honest. You can get cheaper bagels that don't have meat like egg and tomato etc and hot soup is cheap as chips, its packet spring veg but its perfect on a cold day.
Yes John i noticed they are much more expensive now .. everything in london seems to hav shot up in price !!! Still nice tho !! Love all the street food around there too... cheers for watching and commenting 😁🇬🇧👍
