How I Made a Homemade Bead Blaster To Inflate Tubeless Tires
Просмотров 45 тыс.6 лет назад
In need of a bead blaster/ bead seater, I decided to build one by utilizing leftover parts in my garage. I'll show how this is done, one step at a time, and hope you enjoy watching. A bead blaster delivers a large volume of highly pressured air into the cavity of a tubeless tire to help "seat the beads" of the tire to the wheel assembly. Many tubeless tires have extremely stiff sidewalls and th...

How To Regroove a Truck Tire
Просмотров 40 тыс.6 лет назад
Regrooving is a process in which grooves in a tire are re-cut, using a hand-held tool, (in my video I am using a heated tire groover) to a deeper level to restore up to 5mm of tread depth. Regrooving is a practice that unlocks additional service life to truck tires and can provide up to 30% extra mileage. The end result of regrooving is affected by the quality of the new tire and the skill of t...

How to Mount and Dismount a Truck Tire With Pry Bars in 10 Minutes
Просмотров 664 тыс.7 лет назад
In this video I'll show you how to mount and dismount a truck tire by hand in 10 minutes. First things first, be very careful when you inflate a tire truck. There is a serious possibility that the tire might explode so use as many safety measures as possible. In this video the tire is deflated before dismounting and after mounting I'll inflate it just a bit for the purpose of the video. Step 1:...
How to Diagnose and Prolong the Life of a Worn Kingpin (Bolted) in 15 minutes
Просмотров 25 тыс.7 лет назад
In this video I will show you how to extend the life of a worn kingpin (bolted) in 7 steps and in 15 minutes. A kingpin failure is eventually unavoidable and I strongly recommend replacing it once it wears, however, there is a trick you can do in 15 minutes to avoid immediate replacement and extend its life for a large period of time. Signs of a worn kingpin are: incorrect vehicle alignment, pr...

This should be standard and then recapped to save the environment and money. We know because it saves money and therefore reduces manufacturer money. That is why they don't push and support this on road cars. It is all about profits and taxes, money. If things don't make sense ethically, moraly or environmentally etc. It would usually make perfect sense when viewed financially.

I must have the world's worst tire because I have tried several ways to break the bead and it just won't break. I drove over the tire with my truck and the bead did not break. I placed a piece of wood as a ramp and drove the truck onto the ramp and the bead still did not break. I tried using tie down straps and the strap broke. These videos can be miss leading because there are some tires that it is easy to break the bead. When you have a tire and rim that has been sitting outside exposed to the elements the bead seems like it is much harder to seperate.
