Keeping the same photo is better, although it depends how old your previous DS-160 was, if not much, then it's fine to have older photo. New DS-160 is just to make sure if something has changed in this period of time which you want to update, nothing else. So it's fine.

No worries at all, fill out a new DS 160, and carry both (old and new), they don't care much though, but show them the old one first, and keep the appointment confirmation copy with you, this is important. Good luck.

It would help if you carried both with you, they are fine with the old one, I kept the new one with me but they didn't ask. no harm in carrying both.

Yes they generally don't take this long, did you check your status here - ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx Every update should be there, if not , call on their support number. I don't think visiting the interview centre would do any help though.

@@gurjotkaur3783 You must contact them, and write an email when they keep your passport- you have a 90% chance that it is accepted but they also do one last check which might change this decision. They should deliver it to your nearby Canada Post, in any case.

For me, after 5 days I got an email from US embassy that I will receive an email from Canada post within 24 hours, I received the email from Canada Post next day with a tracking number, I collected my passport from that location (location was mentioned in the email), if you want that to be delivered to your home (any address), you can pay and avail it. So overall after the interview I got my passport within 8-9 days.

You can solve in any language, but some companies expects you to solve it in JS only (1-1 coding round, like Paytm). But majorly, companies don't put lang restrictions.

practice answering these questions, keep all possible documents handy, stay confident & maintain smile. That's it. Don't stress. They also want people to visit US and spend money in their country. You just need a VISA nothing else, you're not taking anything from them. It's their job as well. So stay confident. You'll make it.

Now second thing is- do not feel restricted to this area, stay open for other technology. Make a good profile including CV, github, sample projects, start applying using various platforms - instahyre, linkedIn etc and give bunch of interviews, you'll get placed for sure.
