Now that we have some real world data on the 7mm-08, we compare it to data on the 308 to see if one is dominant over the other.

About 3 weeks ago I shot this video, and just hadn't posted it yet. Not sure when I will keep working on the 300 PRC, but wanted to share what we have so far. Looking forward to it. I like learning new cartridges.

We worked to prove out the 160 Ballistic Tip load. We are exceeding one goal (velocity) but 0.05" short of meeting our accuracy goal. Should I keep going with 160s or move to 140s?

The start of Project Little 7 reminds me so much of the start of Project 270 almost 5 years ago! We thought we had lightening in a bottle with RL26 and the 270, but reality came in a hurry. Is the 7mm-08 and Staball 6.5 the same?

Have we been moving forward on false outcomes and assumptions? Could be. Here we break down some things that are not adding up and talk about what might be happening and what we might do next.

While everyone has different experiences and specific conditions, I wanted to share my experience with how to prioritize what gear to purchase when on a budget.

We tried to chase velocity with the 160/162 bullets and could not keep 0.75 MOA consistently. There is something fishy going on with the powder or brass, or both........

Let's take a quick look at one way to decide if chasing velocity will be worth it. As fate would have it, this video foreshadowed actual outcomes.....most likely.

Getting serious now. We find what appears to be a really solid potential for a 160 grain load that exceeds our goals....... and we experiment with another 160, 175, and two different factory loads!
