Thanks for the comment! It was a great day, last Friday afternoon. The Camera is a Akaso Brave 4 Pro, not real expensive but does a pretty good job. My other go to camera, usually mounted forward is a Akaso EK7000. I posted several of these rear mounted videos hopefully to give riders a better perspective of traffic conditions. I have met many new/potential riders that are more concerned about traffic coming up from behind rather than the traffic they see, I hope this helps. The continuation of this video, to the Sacramento Valley Station should be up tonight or tomorrow morning. Please like, subscribe and ring the notification be for future videos! I plan to upload many cycling videos covering Metro Sacramento and beyond this summer.

Hi, Thanks for your comment! I have posted descriptions of the additions that I made to my Totguard E Bike, on the video description. All additions were purchased on Amazon. One change that I recently made was to replace the wireless computer shown in the video with an inexpensive wired unit. The wireless unit seemed to produce inconsistent readings. I'm not sure if the electronics on the bike were interfering with it, it is accurate on my other bikes. One other addition has been a rear taillight which I attached to the rear storage pack, (Ultra Bright Bike Light,USB Rechargeable Waterproof Sport LED Red Fits On Any Road Bicycles Helmets 6 Light Mode Options For Safe Cycling) The bike does not come with a rear light, only a reflector. Thanks for your questions, I hope that I helped, safe cycling!

Thanks for your comment! I don't live in West Sacramento and rarely visit, but I have been impressed over the past few years by how they have cleaned it up and all the new development taking place. I think that with it's proximity to Downtown Sacramento it has a lot of potential as kind of a extension of the downtown area much as the development of the Railyards. There seems to be a lot of new condos/ apts. going in around Sutter Health Park, a good option for those working downtown. There is also talk of a new bridge connecting Jefferson Blvd. with Sutterville Rd. The West Capitol Ave. is cleaner, many of the old rundown motels are gone. Riding West Capitol in the day is clean and peaceful, but at night they are some sketchy people hanging out at the remaining motels.

Thanks for watching the video and for commenting! You will find West Sac's bike lanes very well marked, wide and clean. Davis has a national reputation for it's cycling infrastructure. The Causeway itself was in pretty good shape when this video was shot last spring. I will be riding it again in the next couple of weeks to see if anything has changed after the heavy storms that we had this winter. I can't recall any safety issues on the Causeway. It is well used by UCD students and staff living in the Sacramento area along with State workers living in Davis. You'll have plenty of company! Safe cycling, watch for my Causeway update in a couple of weeks.

Hi Chris, Good luck with your bike! From my experience I definitely think I received value for what I spent. I received my bike Feb 15th and since have put about 1900 miles on it. I purchased my bike primarily as a commuter and it has worked out well. This is my first e-bike and I really didn't know what to expect. As mentioned I replaced the seat, and had the brakes replaced. The front brake started to lose grip after about 1,000 miles. I had both replaced, the mechanic found a piece had broken inside the caliper which wouldn't allow it to contract. The tires and tubes that come with the bike are also a little light for a 45 pound bike and I am planning on replacing them this fall. Overall a great urban commuter bike, it should be well suited for Door Dash, Uber Eats deliveries. Let us know how it turns out and stay tuned, I will be making a 2,000 mile review of the bike soon.

To the uploader of this video -- you're pathetic. Get a hobby Karen. Less gawking, more working towards a solution.

Thanks for watching the video, I'm glad that you enjoyed it, more to come! I will be doing a series of cycling videos featuring Sacramento Area Neighborhoods this summer. If there are any areas you would like me to explore, let me know.

Theres a closed army base that they turned into a business center use a portion of that to make a tiny home community for these homeless people and offer them good services like a real job Training program like a county worker or retail job, parks and community services ,call center skills or online business i.e dropshipping, etsy ,ebay, amazon free phone rep etc that they can use to get back Into society employable. Expunge those stupid arrest for loitering etc and Remove them from what ever eviction charges. Get them a bank accout and the money they make go in savings for a deposit or something some of those people have good skills plus once there on there feet they may find moving out of Sacramento's expensive cost of living for the best. And there leaving willingly with skill to be employable to live.

I lived in that neighborhood when I was 6 or 7, in 1966. Can't believe it still looks the same. I walked to that church. There used to be a huge field with trails, and an old cement grain silo, us kids called "the old man's castle." Good memories. Thanks for the video!

Who pays for that? Need a lot more prisons. Just for minor offenses while real criminals are not locked up. A non solution fiscally.
