I've been definitely finding ways to "disconnect" from the online world. Granted its still tech as its normal photography with a DSLR, and...astrophotography with a camera and telescope, but its entirely offline. Online is purely social and even then its small-group social. I work from home, don't have a car, have huge anxiety issues, so online friends are my *only* friends. But I would change that in a heartbeat if I could have them in person, I'd barely be seen again online...until then.

Streaming at 10AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays to ease the workday for folks? Man oh MAN do I wish I had a job that would let me do that, if I could find that I'd be willing to sacrifice some job security just for the chance at more emotional stability. Reject tech, reject the industrial revolution, reject oligarchy and imperialism, reject convenience => improved self-sustainability, learn trade skills, coordinate neighborhoods, food forests and gardens, bartering, localized political mobilization and better developed mutual aid. Much ancient wisdom has been lost, and while we don't have to return to humble primitivism, there are ways to adapt and integrate functional ancient values and practices to live in more ecological balance.
