I have a red 24 sport hatch. I’m rebuilding it after an accident and decided it would be sick with a rwd swap with a ST engine and SR20 transmission. My stock 2.0 (8k miles old) and transmission has almost paid for everything

You should turn on HEAT at full blast when it passes 205. Also, run an hybrid racing low temp thermostat and adjust the radiator fan to kick on at 175f in Ktuner.

Only question that is bugging me is did the Vette driver ever have a conversation with you after your last lap? Personally it look like he couldn't pass and was doing his best to keep up.

Honestly I’ve been dreaming of a type r for a while but realistically my income isn’t at the type r money yet. Looking into a 10th gen si coupe for the time being and I think I enjoy my moms crv so I know it’s a little quicker and more fun with the 6 speed. I daily a 98 hatch with stock d16+4 speed auto so it’s definitely an upgrade and an awesome daily. Maybe I’ll buy my dream at a later date.

We (as a business) TRIED to give AKD a chance to build our driveline components for a few race cars that we built. It ended up being a very similar situation to yours Sadly, even as a business, we got treated the exact same way. I heard about his past interactions and was even warned by numerous people that had been burned by Stephen to stay away. After speaking with Stephen, he really seemed like a genuine guy that got a bad rap and I gave him a chance. At first, I ordered 2 sets of AWD Civic swap axles and driveshafts. He actually did send me the parts at one point, but I had to send them back due to quality and fitment issues we discovered even before installing them to our cars. Once I saw some of the parts actually being made (issues or not), I ordered even more since our builds at the shop increased exponentially. After this… the runarounds started. I heard the same stories about manufacturing and “Rocky” (whom I believe to be Stephen disguised as a “manufacturer”). Was told 2 weeks that turned to months…Everyone was to blame except Stephen. After going back and forth for a few months, I knew my window to do a chargeback was shortening. The parts I did get looked to be just intentionally sent to shut me up. He banks on people by selling them these nice driveline parts and giving completion dates that put him past the chargeback window. After that, you are the bad guy for wanting your parts or money and there is nothing you can do. Its wild, that after all these years, the guy is still in business. I sent his parts back, and had to file a chargeback with my credit card for nearly 12k collectively from multiple orders placed. After that, I got called every name in the book via email, lots of racist stuff too which was weird. I was blocked on all social media. He even tried to argue the chargeback with the banks (which he lost). The saddest part about ALL of this is… the guy is actually SUPER intelligent and has the means to do good business. Some people, however, are just not cut out to be in business. This is where the lines get blurred in my opinion. Just because you CAN do something (like design parts and have China build them) doesn't make you a good business person. Let's put it this way, I get so upset when many trash talk l15. They are very similarities to the d series and zc twin cam, this is the new future of a redesign zc twin cam with a turbo. Those 3 d, l15, zc are all the same l15 is shit oil pump unless you go thicker oil and oil cooler makes a better difference and that adds 5 qt. 5 qt extra lube has made a big difference, oil changes at 3500 to 5k. I say the block has the same piston size as a d series and zc. The crank hold good power and has decent oil passages. The piston walls are thick, same size, it all lands in the hands that put money and build it right. Cos? Naw 500 to 600 is great especially done right, don't cheap out. Oil pump upgrade, keep oil squirter and choose thicker oils. I can keep on forever but build or maintain even if you did a arp head stud to upgrade for future head gasket failure.

Love it when Gen x car guys like 80s gems like this one. For your fuel issues your tank may need to be cleaned out. Had a 280z I bought that sat in a barn for 15 years. After burning a fuel pump I had the fuel lines cleaned and the tank cleaned and a new fuel filter afterwards I didn't have anymore issues.
